Both are in the future, have to deal in a sci-fi genre and deal with aspects of philosophy. Specifically, they deal with the philosophy of current life and future life. Both also have great, almost similar artwork (minus characters).

What makes these two anime's linked is their story, and how society works in regards to crime. Death Note takes place in modern times, while Psycho-Pass is in the future, but both have the same core themes. In the end, it's about corruption and judgement. Who is fit to judge society, and how do we determine such judgement? If you enjoy such themes, and strong story lines, then you'll enjoy this anime.

While Gantz doesn't necessarily deal in the future, it does give off a science fiction feel similar to Psycho-Pass. Both have forces of 'Public Safety', although Gantz's is a little more justified; however both are controlled by a higher power. Both can be very violent and have immense gore in certain scenes. The art styles are similar (minus the characters), and characters will draw you in.

Both are of the science fiction genre, and both take place in the future. Both also deal with members of public enforcement; some variation of the police we have in the current society. Both also deal with the errors of future society, and uncovering the secrets that are hidden from what is supposed to be an ideal society. The art styles are both beautiful, and terrifying. Ergo Proxy is a bit more on the 'fantasy' style, but not enough so that they aren't similar.

Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls
add

Both are harem/ecchi/battle animes that revolve around a male who gets females to follow him and also fall in love with him. Also, in both, the females that surround the male have incredible battle strength. They both have good artwork, and both have a lot of focus on the ecchi-ness and fan service (which, if you liked Samurai Girls, is something you enjoy). If you enjoyed Samurai Girls, you will see an alarming amount of similarities between these two animes

Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls

Both of these animes are ecchi/harem animes (and if you were to read the Rosario manga, it would also become a very serious battle manga). They both have a male who gets surround by stronger female characters, and both mostly focus on their relationships with that male instead of the given plot. There is a good amount of fan service in both, although Rosario's is less explicit. The main female protagonists are very similar also, all the way down to them having split-personality transformations. Rosario is a bit longer, so if you enjoyed Samurai Girls, you'll have even more time to enjoy Rosario + Vampire. (Side note: I HIGHLY recommend reading the manga over watching the anime, but that is just a personal preference)
