It seems those who watched it, want Zexcs to apologize for assuming people would possess even the most BASIC of critical thinking skills. This show's actually about how a girls' kindness and resilience warms the hearts of the vampires (who're fictional, by the way) she's forced to live with. Making Ayato (best character by FAR) fall in love with her. The flashbacks were so relatable, they almost made me cry. Can't even begin to comprehend how ANYONE with more than two brain cells could fail to understand that they're acting this way BECAUSE they don't want their happiness taken away again. Can you blame them!?

The series parodies popular RPG games with female MCs. People don't need to know anything about that genre to understand it. If you've seen Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece (right up till Luffy died around the 100 episode mark, for example), you should be able to see beyond the ecchi. Tropes such as starting out with basically nothing, special treatment of the MC(s) (staying at inns because the character(s) are famous) while traveling, and with a few small upgrades, revealing armor now protects them while looking the same as before. I'm hoping you all remember the Alphabet Song. Specifically the last two lines. There's a 50/50 chance that if you pull a random American second grader, that he/she will either tell you it's supposed to be "Now I KNOW my ABCs, next time won't you sing with me?" Or "Now I'VE SUNG my ABCs, next time won't you sing with me?" That alone, has a higher unpredictability factor than this cartoon. It's almost laughable. Production I.G. is truly made up of some talented people. Somehow, they managed to make a show about people witnessing their loved ones being eaten alive by giants, adorable and funny. So this anime's main setting is a middle school divided in two: one section's for Titans, the other humans. The weirdness doesn't end there. There are these idiotic teenagers who think I consider them friends, and since I've known one of them since my junior year of high school, I feel obligated to keep that up with her friends too. The fact that the same situation is presented with the main character in this anime, makes me love the characters even more. It's crass, elementary school level humor never ceases to be funny. It's laughable how this has an overall rating of 66%. I seen that a LOT on this site. It's gotten to the point where I know I'm going to like a romantic reverse harem anime if the rating's 6/10 or very slightly above. Take Diabolik Lovers or Meji Tokyo Renka for example The thing with anime, is that it's naturally expected that the viewers read between the lines to figure out what's going on and what the the true intentions were. 56 sec. into the first episode, we're BLESSED with Mia's tits and coils nearly KILLING the MC! Why don't people care that she basically rapes Kurusu 2 min. into the episode?! It's disgusting that if the genders were reversed, this show would be boycotted by the people on MAL who've seen this. This is the fastest I've EVER felt genuine sympathy for an MC.
