Right, first things first... this may seem like a bias review BUT that's okay because I will not force this down anyone's throat I would merely suggest it and say it's great and leave it there! (Even though it is 15 years old by now and if you are an anime fan I am surprised you haven't come across it by now but hey who am I to judge I have only just found it... wait where was I? Oh yeah!) This anime is great for many reasons:
- 8 Story; The story yet being very good it can be confusing the first time through but

that's one reason why you can re-watch it so well!
- 10 Art; The art in this anime is very beautifully done, probably the most charming art style I have seen personally.
- 10 Sound; For the first time ever, I like both Japanese and English dub of an anime... which is crazy yes but I am crazy that is basically the truth of the situation and moving on to the music... I don't even need to explain, it is such a good sound track in my opinion it adds up all the sounds of my favourite music and mashes them into a masterpiece for my ears!
- 9 Characters; The main thing I like to look for in an anime is very different characters and this hits it on the head! ALL of the characters that are featured mainly are all different which some anime don't do but that is the advantage of a OVA I guess... much less time to repeat the same concepts but just look different.
- 10 Enjoyment; With Fooly Cooly I can safely say I have never enjoyed an anime this much, the other anime I have watch either ended with "Oh... that was cool I guess." or "Meh.".
- 9 Overall; Well it is the end of the review... well if you stayed to read it any way... Fooly Cooly is now number one on my favourite anime, I used to watch things like Death Note (Good series, don't get me wrong!) religiously and FLCL sparked that feeling I used to get again and that in my opinion is beautiful.
If you haven't seen this anime before, give it a go! it's only an OVA so it's not that long and I'm sure it'll make you smile one way or another.
