Both anime involves timetravelling and correction of either past mistakes or realities. In both a male character tries to figure out how everything shoild be instead of what there is. In both cases the key is a girl.... Anyway both really worth watching due to its its tricky plot and touching story.

Firstly, they both deal with time travel issues more or less. Secondly, both have hot boys who guard main character. And finally, their stories focus on past and people with some abilities. If to throw all this away, they both are a real dessert for your eyes. Read them both, you won't regret it.

In fact I never thought that Gurren Lagann would bring the same feeling as Eureka when I just started watchung it. But after all they have a lot of common traits. Let's see: 1. Mecha. Mechas are everywhere, they are battle machines controlled by human, but there ought to be a special one that can be controlled only be whom? Right, main character. 2. Main male characters in both anime evolve during the series. They start as scared boys and grow up as courageous men. 3. Main female characters are somehow connected with alien race and bound to the main hero. 4. And after all they are global. The stories bedin in some small city or village and then spread all over the whole world. 5. And the last point is that both cannot leave you indifferent for sure!

Though there is nearly 20 years gap between these works, however, the topic seems to be quite exciting and up-to-date nowadays. Both anime are dedicated to the problems of finding one's pair when school years are far behind, and 30th birthday is cdrawing closer and closer. It scarry for both parties as well as difficult. As for 30-sai Hoken Taiiku, it involves help of gods and more ecchi elements, while Yume de Aetera is purely true-to-life material. However, deeds, situations and results are very similar in both anime.

Both series involve a boy and a spirit of a gifted person (swordman/go player) as main heros. During both series these main heroes evolve mastering their skills to achieve greater aims (aims are indeed great nearly unreachable). Yo and Hikaru have a number of rivals that accidentally become their friends and admit superb force of the hero. However, Shaman King is more about fighting and action, while Hiraku no Go concentrates not only on evolution of skills but process itself. Nevertheless, both are really easy to watch even though the number of series is about 70.

In fact I wonder how I cannot notice the similarity from th very beginning?! Firstly, they both involve police and detective job, and their tasks are really far from ordinary ones. Secondly, the characters are very alike. Male characters are both in some kind of surbodance to their partners, they are both hulk types. Women are bold, even risky depending on their partners a lot, though the latter might not notice that. Thus, if you like the pairing, police atmosphere and unusual cases watch both.

If you are looking for caring awesome male characters, here they are: Itou Kunio and Nagase Yukiya! In fact both guys are splendid in the way they treat their beloved ones. Though the main story in Boku ni Natta Watashi has nothing supernatural, the extra at the very end does have it (by the way extra is much more impressive than the main story) and the plot of this extra story is very close to Soryanaize Darling, as it involves time traveling. Read both, as they both leave deep impression.

Both anime deal with English aristosracy and its morals. Both have blonde bishounen as the main hero involved in some kind of contract with supernatural heroine. By the way Oz and Edgar have also dark though loyal servants. And genres are the same: romance, shoujo, reverse harem. For those who are charmed with English exquisite aristocratic atmosphere, both anime would be the best option.

The partners of Rahzel are very alike of Fai and Kurogane from Tsubasa according to their character. So it's like they are wandering around without Syoran, Sakura, and Mokona, but having found Rahzel instead =) Both are fantasy and adventure with great accent on partnership and friendship and a bit of romance added.

Again, it's just understandable only to manga fans, otherwise the plot itself could not be tracked. Both "Mitsu x Mitsu Drops" and "Kyou, Koi Hajimemasu" are great manga works, but its anime adaptataion can be called nothing more than their appendix. Still the drawing is awesome, so just get esthetical pleasure from both ;)

If you read descriptions of both you might think these two anime have nothing in common. However, as it was produced by one studio (Studio Deen) it has the same tricks. Warning: the following might have spoilers! 1. They are both reverse harem, that means one girl is surrounded by a group of amazingly gorgeous guys. 2. You think Hakuoki is about Shinsengumi warriors? Ha! It is about Shinsengumi vampires or warriors who develop vampiric abilities (it sounds pretty the same to me) 3. The main heroine is not that simple as she seems. 4. By the way, there is going the second season of Hakuoki just as in Vampire Knight. So they are both dark, mysterious and offer a splendid choice of good-looking boys.

The same maho-shoujo style and quite similar plot: - the heroine's beloved is somewhere far (namely in the USA) and they will meet each other someday; - meanwhile another candidate for being beloved appeared (by the way both guys are singers ;)) The difference is in heroine's choice and plot variations. Watch both: the feeling is pretty the same.

Settings and plot in both anime have nothing in common, but for mystery element. However, the characters are really similar. Horo and Ryoko are powerful in their worlds, they both achieve the aims they have once set. Izumida and Lorence are their humble servants towards whom both heroines feel attraction. Both anime are slow in pace but it does not make them boring!

At start Tower of Druaga seems to be more easy-going than Chrome Shelled Regios, however, as the plot goes further it becones more serious. Both series have quite similar atmosphere: the characters have to stay always alert to survive, though they cannot control the whole situation. The characters are also similar Layfon is mix of Jil and Niba (sometimes naive as Jil, sometimes cruel as Niba) Sharnid and Melt are like two peas. And the last thing - both are a mixture of comedy, drama and fantasy.

Two worlds that somehow exist in parallel universes one of which is somewhere in the sky (or even space), a plain girl who has some powers to influence the fate of the world. Surely, Escaflowne is far more better in all aspects but Munto is the closest to it in the idea itself and plot.

When watching both series it feels like you are reading some piece of classical Japanese literature. They are both dedicated to politics and mystery, though Genji is certainly has much more of romantic mood; meanwhile Seirei no Morbito is more about action and mysterious creatures. Background for both series is ancient Japan and both princes are deprived of any rights for throne. If you like esthetically charged Genju Monogatari you have to watch Seirei no Morbito as well.

Just look closer! They have a lot in common: 1. Alice and Horo both possess some incredile abilities. 2. Oz and Lawrence are both wise enough not to argue with their powerful patners. 3. They are always travelling or searching something. 4. Most likely they have to part with each other at the end of their way.
