Gargantia and Attack on Titan are two very similar anime theme wise. Similarity: -both set in a world where humans are forced to fight and fear the superior beings. -humans are forced to live within the barriers. Attack on Titan, citizen live in the built Walls, and in Gargantia, people live in ships and in spaceships. -The purpose of humans is to annihilate their enemies. -The Hideauze (from Gragantia) and the Titans (from Attack on Titan) are both very strong creatures that invade humans. Their combat ability is monstrous comapred to humans -The Space Humans (Gargantia) and The citizen in the Walls (Attack on Titan) are constantly fighting. Teens join the military to fight the enemies. -The main characters believe it is their duty to massacre their enemies, bring peace upon human kind and restore the long lost dominance. Difference: -Gargantia has more of a laid-back approach where Attack on Titan provides intense situation and more blood and gore. -Gargantia's problems aren't recognized by normal people, where the citizens in Attack on Titan live in constant fear. -Gargantia is more sci-fi/mecha genre where Attack on Titan has steam-punk-ish/action/gore approach. -The setting of Gargantia is in future oceans and space where as in Attack on Titan, the setting is in the past within the human-built territory. -The character in Gargantia seems to vary, where most are normal citizen and some are soldiers..whereas in Attack on Titan, the story involves mostly soldiers and military cadets.

Persona 4 and Psyren both contains a story revolving around different dimensions. These dimensions are the counterparts of the present world the characters live in. Although the story lines are different in two mangas, they follow similar concept. In addition, the "action", the fights and most of the violence takes place in the alterante dimensions in both series. The characters can be also related. The main characters in both stories are given power/connection to power by another person. As the story proceeds, more characters become aware of the alternative dimension in both mangas. Although they have similar ideas, their story lines are quite different from each other.

If you liked Nurarihyon no Mago: Sennen Makyou add

...then you might like Natsume Yuujinchou San add

A main character who inherits something from their grandparents. Rikuo inherits the yokai blood where as Natsume inherits the Book of Friends. Both anime revolves around yokai/ayakashi and Japanese culture. Although Natsume Yuujinchou is more of heart warming and has slice of life elments, Nurarihyon no Mago is more into action and battles. But both anime potrays an unique world of ghosts and spirits. I enjoy them both.
