PSYCHO PASS 2 COMPACT REVIEW
*This is my first review, I'll try my best to be spoiler free*
What's good:
+ The art is still is great as the first season (dark & gritty cyberpunk).
+ The sound dept is also as good as the first season.
...
+ One character (Hinakawa, the red haired guy) has the potential to be a good and relatable character if developed further in the next season
What's bad:
- The new writer (yes, this season's script is not written by Urobuchi) does not seem to grasp Urobuchi's concept of Psycho Pass and Sybil System, which cause inconsistencies between the first and this season.
- Most characters are lacking in development, and some characters from the first season felt out-of-character.
- Shimotsuki Mika, a character which purpose is just to annoy the watchers.
- Failing in building watchers emotion, because almost everything felt so rushed compared to the first season.
- Some gory and disturbing scenes lack momentum, which makes them felt like being added just because the first season has them.
- Felt more just like filler instead of a sequel.
