My name is Natalie, and I, like many, started watching anime in the mid-to-late 90's with Pokemon, Dragonball Z, and Sailor Moon. Over twenty years later, I love anime more than ever, and am always experimenting with new genres and titles...both obscure and mainstream, with a slight preference for manga. My aim in the MAL community is to participate in meaningful conversation about anime and manga, and to encourage new and existing fans to frequently examine their expectations with anime and challenge their comfort levels in order to expand the types of series they expose themselves to.
