Now, when you first watch this, im assuming your watching this know that its a 1940's anime where technology wasn't advanced back them. Because I'll be honest, I actually enjoyed it knowing all of that.

The story was kinda basic, but really gives subtle hints about what japan thought of the US at the time.

The art was actually surprisingly good, and too be honest, I actually thought it was well made.

The highlight of this anime was the music, it didnt really fit the tone in some places, but was nice to listen to ... and something I liked.

Nothing much to say about characters but monkey vs polar bears.

Overall I enjoyed it, just remember its an old anime so its not your To Love Ru, but it honestly wasnt that bad so maybe spare 3 min of your time for this and see where anime took its roots from.

Shelter, I know there are reviews which are negative toward this anime but i'll be honest, after realising what the story is about it kept me thinking for a bit. I'm finding it hard to describe the anime without saying any spoilers or expecting something out of it so i'll keep this short.

Story: 9/10
The the story is unique in its own sense that its mainly exploring the main character,Rin, on how she got to where she is. How it tells it is like a puzzle, on that you piece the emotional state of each of her flashbacks and her describing her current feelings to ... create the answer when you reach the end of the story on why she is feeling these emotions. despite how hard that is to follow there is a moral story i do really want to say but i feel that it would ruin the point of the story so I'll leave that up to you if this was enough.

Art: 10/10
got to say welldone for A1 for this as it is the most the animation and art is simply beautiful to see with tis bright colours and artistic background drawings. The places it visits within a short few seconds looks wonderful for the eye to see and on Rin herself as a character so fragile and gently yet adventurous and fun.

Character: 7/10
Rin is our main character, a girl with things she wants to keep out, but is shown anyway beyond her control, a carefree girl who only wants fun, yet feels (to me) is hard for her to do.
Shigeru, Rins dad, shown briefly in flashbacks as a man who loves her daughter and is willing to do anything for her.

Sound: 4/10
this was kinda my downfall, I mean yeah thats what the anime is kinda based from but it never really fit will well with me, the song of the same name never really fitted with the atmosphere the anime was going for later on in the story, maybe for the brief 2-3 minutes, but after that it never fitted with what was going on. Though to be fare was a nice song to listen to.

Enjoyment: 8/10
To be honest I enjoyed this anime, I soon as i got the ending i just replayed some of the moments that went to really understand what happened, it really got to me in a sense that it wasnt emotionally sad but kind of real.

This anime short made out to be pretty good I thought and it really got me thinking about it, for some of you it might be typical and boring hence why I didnt want to reveal hardly any of the story. But if you just watch it, with an open mind, as if you just finish some type of work or something, and just watch carefully what happens, in the enf you might just enjoy it

Im gonna try to keep this simple and explain why this show is potentially good.

Story wise is pretty good. The author that made this also made SAO and I will tell you know they are completely different from each other. First half you have the MC ,Haru, trying to have a decent school like but gets bullied only to get introduced to a Augmented reality game called Brain Burst by a girl she likes.
Also you think he would try to get her but he doesnt as he knows how much of a loser he is so keep that in mind. As ... they progress they they face with players trying to get rid of them as if you have no points you lose the game forever.
The story is simple but not like much other stories you would come across.

The art is pretty simple with its bright colours to show off the augmented world and decent art style of character design. (besides Haru but I will get to that)

OP and ED Im not a fan of but the soundtrack isn't half bad.

Now this is where people stop watching. I dont know, Haru essentially looks really cartoony compared to the other characters and so a lot of people really dont like that. Now let me tell you. JUST GET OVER IT. GEES.
I did dislike it but its not like Im gonna not watch it because of that. Just dont think so heavily about Haru's design and move on. Its literally so pathetic that so many people stopped watching it because of that.
Moving on. The character development isnt so bad as well as you learn why they turn out the way they did. But are at least 3 I can think of that should really have more time to let us know who they are better.

The action in this anime is pretty clean as there's no random ridiculous manouvers unless theres a reason or that its actually capable of doing. Where the story goes doesn't fail as there goal is clear within the game.
The only thing I could complain about is that sometimes there are moments where it doesnt really seem logical of it happening but its not that big of a stain so you wont you dont need to worry over it.

Overall Whilst there are things that can be tweaked this anime is pretty good for its action, story and character development and I recommend you watch if you watched SAO as its set 20 years after that and is different compared to it.
