Both have great main characters and incredible endings with a similar feel of inevitable hopelessness throughout. Both have the concept of time running out and both have great last few chapters that will leave you feeling empty and glad you read the manga.

Basketball mangas. Both have absolutley incredible main casts and emotion throughout. Both written by the goat Inoue. Real follows a more realistic and therefore impactful story but both are incredible!

The infinitely better version of truth and reality articulated by anime. Perfect Blue is easily the best animated film i have ever seen, it executes the themes its trying to explore flawlessly. A disturbing and terrifyingly authentic depiction of inner conflict is what this masterpiece of a film offers.

Space themes, incredible characters and extremely funny. Probably the best show i have ever seen and its only 6 episodes i couldn't recommend FLCL more an absolute must watch!

Both have highly emotional endings. Relife has an amazing cast and main characters. Emotional roller coaster of an anime but easily my favourite romance/ slice of life by far, give it a try!
