As a massive fan of the mobile game this show is worse than disappointing; it is utterly abysmal.
Story-wise, the anime is an adaptation of the early chapters, of which the story isn't good, yet they managed to make the general writing and the pacing somehow even worse. The game's biggest strength is the lack of exposition dumps and that is just the opposite with this show. It dumbs down characters to explain (poorly thought out) tactics.
The opening and the ending are the only positive things about the show, and maybe the art style that is heavily inspired by Gunslinger Girl. The animation itself is average
