Yes, character and voice actor deserves a break, in other words, just for fun, but also feels like trying to add something beneath the middle of the episodes.
For example, how Subaru confuse as Apple in real world (Ringo) and Fantasy World, Appas (Ringa), Beatrice hate Subaru calling her Loli, and just small random stuff in the whole episodes.
Other than that, is just for your pleasure 3 minute break time after done doing voice acting the main series.
Indeed its funny but not from what we expected from short video.
6/10

==========================================
(Subaru is a car)
Pros
+ Break time
+ Still the same voice actor
+ Trying to blend main episodes for extra info.
Cons
+ Just for fun anime, nothing more.

( Sorry but how to review a short one with a short video? :( )

Just a little slight review and only 10% Spoilers.
(Fan-bois and fan-haters viewers be adviced)
Well its ok to love Re:Zero, but its also ok to hate Re:Zero.
This is mostly intended to, to make viewers hate its main characters and hate its main plot.
Its ok if he decides poorly, after all, he get the clue what will happen soon.
Its not ok if he dies a lot, if he thinks that his "Return From Death" can get a straight answers without caring for his well-being, and yes its Sanity.
In fact, his power will also change the other character mindset.
And his power can`t even tell others without risking his
...
life and the others.
Also can`t compare this with Stein;s Gate even through its still the same production but entirely different meaning and how it works with. Like Okabe is based on Time-Travelling Science, while Subaru is based on Checkpoints.
In fact, most of the plot of the story is well concluded on the Title. For example, Episode 14, what if he do wish to go back early, Episode 15 is when he do nothing, Episode 16 is where he too forceful, and what happens afterwards on Episode 17. And yes, 17, that is a disgraceful to the viewers eye to the extreme, and that point I start skipping a lot, and lot of scenes because It irritiates me and I can't take it. But Episode 18 is the reason why I start accepting the Main Character.
Subaru have his own weakness, but Is it what we have to blame? A person suddenly got suck out and put into Fantasy World suddenly? What will happen if you in there also?
Like I said, there are 2 type of viewers. One is being critical, and hating the anime is fine. One is like don`t care review, just watch the show and enjoy. We can`t blame for that. And I think its fine anyway, if they did wish for Season 2. If not I would be critical as hell.
Other thing is, "Fanservice"? Yes there is, but how they handle the "Fanservice"?
I don`t like Fanservice, but its not like any kind of Ecchi Elements added in flavour. So I found out its fine to add this "small stuff" in ingredient.
Apart from this anime "genre", why i put ""?
Because this is the odd one, putting a lot of flavour in a curry pot. If Fantasy is too generic, put Dark Fantasy and Comedy.
Lastly the show tries to make this anime as Cliffhanger as possible, and they did it well. Even main character said so. It makes the viewer interest on what will happen next. And I'm like, begging to my bro to go download Re:Zero just because I wanted to see the damn latest episodes, which It never happen to me back then. This is the kind of symptom in Re:Zero.
Art? Its amazing, its 2016, even through there`s some of lazy scenes and low quality animation, but do I even complain about it?
Indeed the last episode like Episode 22 - 25 is not like Episode 14 - 18, 19 - 21. As I think this is what we call, trying to get a better scene but lack of production budget. But its not like Kabaneri where plot getting butchered up and make a 20-minutes ending that looks like I have to scratch my trembling brain.
As the ending, lame? So I thought, thats it? No more Re:Zero?
Nope. There`s more of it.
Enjoyment? Yes, I enjoying it. I hated it. But I loving it.
Re:Zero is a Love-Hate anime, a Mood Ruiner anime, a Sufferu anime,
Its not masterpiece, its not a bad anime,it has flaws but its a good one.
Who enjoying Subaru dies from x? You sick-o.
Can`t wait for Season 2. Just, don`t rush it.
9/10

= Spoiler free, opinions based on my view back in 2010. =
Well. Back in early 2008, i think. This anime was broadcasted in my place, and its really extremely censored, probably this was broadcaster fault for showing ecchi anime.
But after watch whole episodes back then, I fully regret the whole of it.
The main reason maybe this occurs is when :
1 + You read the manga before watching anime.
2 + You watched the anime then after done, read manga.
"Ecchi". Isn`t. Do not mistakes "Ecchi" and non "Ecchi" in thiis anime, conpared to manga which completely ecchi genre. Probably this is because the anime fix to Shounen
...
anime, which to make appeal to younger children rather than teen. Yeah.
Plot are much butchered in this anime, trying to create original plot rather than manga plot, of course no need to follow manga completely. But when anime stays into that plot, while manga already go further, well anime stays dead on that scenes, unless reboot occurs.
And while to look at the arts, arts are really pale and blant. Probably because its 2005, but I seen there`s more 2005 anime that has good animation back then.
But hey, I don`t really cons this anime, there`s still good points through. Such as numerous characters with different personality but memoriable characters. Voice acting was pretty solid, even through music isn`t great in whole anime. OP was good.
Then again. Like I said.
I prefer manga than anime. I read the whole chapter. This anime devoid most of its charming. It makes coffee taste like drainage.

Okay. Avoiding the spoiler, here`s what I thought after watch complete series.
Back then, I defended the whole series, from Episode 1 until 4. And now how the thing goes?
This what we called "Culture Shock". This is like a spin-off of Attack of Titan, an apology or filler to their ridiculous production time of producing AoT series. Until decided to delay more until it goes 2017.
"Culture Shock" is what we called, different ideology but similar meaning. Titans replaced to Kabane or Zombies. 3D Manuever Gear replaced to Air gun and Trains, and don`t get me wrong since their Idea of bringing train is really great idea.
The
...
main problem lies when the arc of Biba and that is the falldown of the whole series. I repeat. The whole series. The powerful character, what is it.... Mumei, she strong and more powerful than Ikoma, but she treated like a simple minded idiot character. Ikoma in other hand, simple but reminding Mumei as her sister. Yeah? Brother and Sisters? Is this the best "Kabane Story" they can come up with?
Art design and sound was the only thing that nails it, and reminds me how great the animation was since Attack on Titan was.
Character? Yes you will remember Ikoma and Mumei, but not others. Ikoma as i mention back then, he was "Simple Minded", like what Takumi said so. Mumei in other hand, Strong but Idiot. Other character like Kurisu, a "Simple Minded" also, act as bodyguard Ayame. And lastly, Ayame "Fine Lady". Who controls the key of the Iron Fortress. The main issues of character is because they are skipped and underutilized. Like Ayame knows Archery skills back in Episode 1 only.
Overall. I'm very disappointing to see the most hyped Anime gone rogue.
And from series 24 minutes to 22 minutes in Ep 11 and 12 also remains unknown.
Is it bad to watch? No. Its a Mixed bag ride. This is Michael Bay Japanese version, but extremely weak executions, that begs the question : since when did this happen?

Is this for Corpse Party fan like me?
Yes.
But is it terrible adaptation?
No. It wasn`t. But this gives a different possibility.
This is what I`m thinking since long time ago,
What happen if you ignore the good deeds, and what are the result of the loss?
This is what the anime stated for, "Tortured Souls" are one of the anime that answers the questionable fans, who wish to see how dreadful it can be from the game looks in the anime.
...
The best part is the voice and sound effects, its outstandingly perfect in design way, probably the best voice actor in the anime OAV adaptation, and I wish to see more of this.
The art and dark and gloomy place of abandoned school are the best as it gets, sometimes it gets low quality, especially Episode 3, where the quality is terrible. Gore, everyone will think that the most disgustingly detailed gore will be this anime. No exceptions.
The main problem lies with the character developement and the rush out plots. Its like they cut off the essential parts of the storyline and make it fast forward, and its a storyline that only fans of the Corpse Party will enjoy. Others, maybe alienated, so you have to play the game before watch this anime.
And seeing my favorite character dies...i felt like...why you do this ;-;
Overall, I like how the anime premise should be, its reversing the whole plot. Its a textbook of Wrong Ends, but continuously finish the storylines. This is what happen.

Ok...before I review this anime, let me get this straight.
This ain`t a "Terrible" "Whoo-Hoo" higurashi anime, this ain`t "1/10" anime, and I didn`t agree why this anime given 1/10 because is anime was Deen's anniversary? or they did it to please the fans? or is it for anime who wish to enjoy bringing back horror elements?
I think it is a anime that is made just for fun, more like comedy episodes, and if you know how the Higurashi comedy style was, this one, feels a bit rough than Rei episodes, but Rei was more light-hearted.
Rei is a lesser version of ecchiness, Kira into next
...
stage, thats what I can sums up of this anime.
Did I enjoy this anime? Well pretty mixed, sometimes I like but sometimes its unnecesary to put that content. Art and design, is "Deen" ok. "Deen" tries to make ecchi content but kinda failed, and I think Rei is even better, like they did on Episode 1 OVA.
To sums up, its just a "fanservice". Nothing else. I a bit mixed feeling about fanservice Deen was, but this one is a bit less promising. So yea, it just average.

Well have you watch Higurashi?
First of all, ignore Kira because its just a Spin-Off.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kaku, or simply said : Kaku,
The story is similar from Hinamizawa, except this is from Outbreak, like virus spreading into the town, like Zombie outbreaks. Story has been forward, like its a story where you understand what is the Parallel World should be, and try to get the ideas how this happens. In short form, how the "virus" effects the person, rampaging and kill anyone. Its like a Speciment A vs Speciment B, killing is common.
But if you know the flow of the story, this not
...
follow any of the arc, its a new story and theme.
But enough said, not exploiting the whole story.
Suprisingly the animation and the art is hundred times better than previous Kai episode, and its a major improvement + its less censored content than previous main series. Sound and voice acting still good.
Characters/themes are less introduce since you already get the facts from the previous Higurashi series, and from what I didn`t understand is what Hanyuu short conversation with Rika conversation.
Overall, its for a Die-Hard fans of Higurashi, if you are new who stumbled into this ova, I suggest not to watch this first.

Its a kind of experiment, worndering what just happen on this village, from happy fun time to killing time. Its a bloody mess.
*I try to make zero spoilers and only based on what I watch.*
You repeat the experiment again and again, hoping that experiment will be differ from previous. Its like a science, but it just happens to be in this anime. And this is what I felt about this anime.
The beauty lies within the whole plot and the characters, its disorienting, but it fills the gap between zero filling slots, waiting for next experiment to fill in. Until you get the solution and found
...
a cure. It takes place in Hinamizawa on June 1983, and there, you got a 4 cute girl, and a happy boy named Keiichi, who lived in Hinamizawa, Rena, a white capped girl, Mion, green haired girl, Satoko, A blonde girl, and lastly Rika, a purple hair girl.
At first, you see, its a Harem anime, until something turns into madness, and turn wierder, and getting creepy, and lastly, death. And somehow, the world repeated again, giving other rules how to kill a person in different way. Thats how the anime goes. And its pretty interesting and unique where it is depends on the viewer how they wanted to solve the riddle of the story.
The character is basicly superb, since 5 of the character is the main character of the series, including Shion, which it will be introduced after next arc of the story. Each character had their own personalities hidden, including their skills. And how the character turns into different person when they turn their stake to kill person, which means, obeying the law. Voice actor is amazing.
A bit downside is the Art design, somehow it drawns a bit geometry wrong, and sometimes it gives a bit freaky when Rena turns lizard eye at Keiichi. But thats what it charms on this anime, cute and freaky anime. Although there`s a bit censored and not really harsh in censoring arts, but its fine anyway. Its still brutal.
Overall, its really great to see this kind of unique anime, still watching the new season series since it completes the whole arc of the story.

Such an overhyped anime turn into a mess.
I`m not trying to spoil anything at all.
The good side is Character, mostly offers whats best on the character can do, and now I see a lot of Ghouls show up and the CCG's character, like Suzuya Juuzou lunatic kid, Amon Koutarou, mostly explained pretty well.
The worst part, This anime is consider a trainwreck to what previously offered from previous adaptation of Pierrot Studios, Tokyo Ghoul.
Tokyo Ghoul Root A, offers nothing but a dissapointing fighting scene, rush out plot that offers little to none understanding about how the story flows,
for example, Kaneki turns ghoul, then what happen to
...
Kaneki is unexplained,
mostly focused on the side character, like everything was from CCG's side.
The worst part is the animation, they downgrade it. And if thats not enough, they add filler, which takes even more time until whole episode is finished. Last episode is worst and looks nothing compared to manga. Art design was nice too.
Overall, I didn`t really enjoy more than previous Tokyo Ghoul. Its not really manga fault if thats happen. It just feels downright and overwhelmingly depressing just by watching it.

I wanted to begin without breaking the whole spoiler. First of all. Its a MADHOUSE Studios, legendary studios which develop anime such as Death Note, One Punch Man, Iron Man the Animation, Parasyte, and so on. But this anime, you can say its a downfall and its finest.
Like storylines, it almost related to Sword Art Online related, a Person stuck in a whole game and he had to spend his life in his Guild, and learn what he can do on outside his guild. And I like how the Anime idea was, Evil helping people, even though it was Necromancer class. The anime slowly starts
...
getting pumped-up then declined because the anime have less plot ideas than it shows, and the show seems demanding 24+ episodes instead of 13 Episodes.
Character design was nice, such as Momonga, but only Momonga a.k.a Ains Ooal Gown makes its appearance too well. Side character such as his minions NPC's, Narberal Gamma, Shalltear Bloodfallen, are the only character focused in the anime. Others are underutilized. I wish they have more story detail and battle with Albedo, I mean seriously. She's like the first Side Character but only showned as a fan-services big breast girl which is love-stuck with Momonga.
Art and sound design was pretty nice and colorful, only certain parts of art design kinda less good, such as episode 11 - 13 episode. I`m not sure.
Fighting seems great but I think the Magic fight is very underwhelming bland compared to actual sword-fight. But this is just my opinions.
Overall, Its a Decent anime. I really hope they will plan for next season because it really needed for Season 2, to complete the ark of Season 1.
