This is very suprising for me, i didn't expect to enjoy this as much as i did, watched with a friend & they also agree with me in saying:
Han yuxi (Main Character) had fantastic character development. I wasn't expecting to like this series since I don't usually watch or read donghua stories but this very satisfying to watch & thrilling right until the end. 谢谢.
The story aimed to deliver messages about society & the perspective of the world, as well as the illusions we draw for ourselves regarding materialistic desires. If you can look past the animation style , i would definitely recommend giving

You guys remember that old school shounen feeling, watching an anime everyday in the morning & been excited as a kid this story brings those nostalgic feelings to the table. If you looking for an "Insane anime" Or a "Magi" replacement you will not find that here.
This is a different story, animation and style. Nor does it do anything fundamentally different from most shounen but it is certainly enjoyable for a pass time. Especially to anyone who likes Edo/tokugawa period inspired anime with that su-generic modern twist, call me boring but i cant wait to see how it turns out. I suspect many people ...

I'm a bit conflicted with this one because of the humor and raw nature of the jokes/sexual innuendos; it fails to get the true meaning of the authors message across to the audience, and by far the intention was not full blown perversion - the actual theme of anime was implying that of an unlikely friendships sprouting from the most unlikely of people - unfortunately this was misunderstood by several of the People who watched the anime: taking it ina completely politically & standardized charged direction.
And im guilty of also misunderstanding the anime too, until i gave it a 2nd chance. My verdict is ...

Ah. Well.
Contrary to popular opinion i didn't like this. Now i know what you're thinking. 'Wtf' this anime is awesome its got plot (i guess), interesting characters (sniper mask. . i guess) and fanservice (You got to love the angles) BUT: Throughout the whole of this anime for some reason something was bugging me & i couldn't quite put my finger ln it usually i dont nitpick when it comes to anime - im very open to watching a lot of genres. And this was by no means BAD - but i noticed a lot of regenerated & inspired references or similarities to other mangas ... |
