No matter how good the first episodes are - DON'T WATCH IT.
The first 500 episodes are good, a handful of them are great, but unfortunately, the quality of this show went south afterward.
First, the show’s story progression became even slower than it was because of the manga. As a result, every episode now includes the full opening played at the beginning and then a 2-3 minutes recap of the last episodes. Not only that, but most of the “new” episodes have an insufficient amount of actual plot progression and more annoying fillers and flashbacks of what we have seen only one or two episodes ago
...
as if we were too stupid to understand and connect the dots without the flashbacks.
Second, the art became dull. I’m not an expert, but the newer episodes feel cheap. Everything from the world to the characters is less detailed and the colors are boring. Besides that, I don’t like what they have done with the female character’s breasts - They’re too big to my taste and compared to their size before they changed the art style.
The characters are boring, cheesy cliches. The new characters are all the same, they have nothing meaningful to add besides bad written and over-sentimental lines that (supposedly) should lead to some cheesy flashbacks that make the main character say something cringy about the heart of the cards... oh oops, wrong show. Anyway, maybe if the episodes were released more often than they do, then it could be more emotional, but even then these scenes are rather uncomfortably cheesy/awkward to watch.
You might assume that 500 decent episodes are a good reason to at least start it, but what is the point of starting something that you most likely won’t even finish? Even if it’s not a good enough reason for you, and you believe you might like the new episodes, consider this:
It took them about 2 years to complete each of the two most recent arcs (Dressora and Cake Island), and the current arc is far from being the last one. Now, considering that only few new people will pick one piece, and old fans are leaving the Fanclub, there are only three possible outcomes: Either you will have to spend the next 10 years waiting for the final episode, or the anime’s budget will become even smaller and the quality will get worse, or show will get canceled. Even if you consider the journey more important than the destination, this journey has all the chances to become bad and longer than your love for anime.

“Beneath every unpopular girl, there’s even more unpopular chubby guy”
- me
Tomoko is an anxious girl who desires to be popular among her peers. To fulfill her dream, she’s playing dating games thinking they might give her the social skills she lacks. After spending many hours on those games, Tomoko decides that she’s ready to use her newly gained skills in the real world. Unfortunately, her skills didn’t turn out to be as useful as she hoped, and whenever she tried to apply them in social situations, she ended up embarrassing herself by misinterpreting the situation and behaving improperly.
This show is uncomfortable to watch because of the many unpleasant scenes
...
throughout every single episode. I often skipped scenes as they were too painful to look at even when I predicted them. Despite the excessive reliance on the awkwardness, I still found a handful smirk-worthy moments.
I also liked the art class scene. This scene shows that even the least attractive woman has high standards and won’t consider an unattractive man as a potential partner (hence the quote). This is not the main idea behind this scene, but I believe unattractive men have a bigger disadvantage in dating. That is a perfect example for this.
And I just wanted to point out that contrast to what other reviewers wrote, I don’t consider it wise to compare yourself to Tomoko, as I don’t see her as a character anyone can relate to. Nobody has an easy life, and Tomoko’s life is not “fun” in particular. That said, her actions aren’t something a sane human would do. They’re irrational and only her being an underdeveloped child can explain them. This series is an awkward situations comedy, and we should view this as what it is - a comedy.

I'm not a big fan of the first season of One Punch Man. The humor was OK but it wasn't great. With that being said, the second season's humor was on point, and in my opinion what the first season should have been like.
The only problem with this series is its length. I think they had enough time to make the second season a bit longer, or at least long enough to finish the story instead of leaving the interesting stuff to the 3rd season.
Don't get me wrong, the second season is interesting (and funny), but it feels like a warm-up before the
...
grand finale, or like the 18th episode of a 24 episodes Anime. The 3rd season won't come out anytime soon, and as I wouldn't recommend you to watch 18 episodes and then wait over a year for the last 6 episodes, I don't think I can recommend this season before the 3rd season will be released.

Story (3/10) - poor
"Denpa-Teki Na Kanojo" is about crazy girls, crazy girls that don't make any sense.
Obviously, the main reason for their poor development is the small number of episodes. But, if they made a movie instead of an OVA, maybe they could develop something more believable. If you decide to add reason behind a Yandere character's actions, at least make them sound somewhat believable, otherwise just stick to their pure craziness and don't try to create empathy for those characters.
The psycho-girls in this Anime, as I already said, make no sense. They're focusing too much on shocking and graphic scenes - obviously,
...
the only way to portray a messed up characters - and then, from nowhere, they begin to show how those psychos actually victims while sticking to the shock factors that make absolutely no sense.
Art (6/10) - Fair
Some characters look okay, some worse. I personally don't like the eyes art-style, it makes some characters look bad.
Sound (5/10) - Mediocre
I assume it's a low-budget Anime, so there's no OP and the sounds are generic.
Characters (4/10) - Decent
I pretty much summarized everything while reviewing the story. The only thing I can add is that the characters had a potential, it feels like they could be interesting characters if they were developed correctly.
Enjoyment (5/10) - Mediocre
Nothing interesting, yet not too boring - good to kill time.
Overall (5/10)
Maybe instead of misleading people with the title they actually should have made a sci-fi.

There are many series and movies in the Anime industry that doesn't make any sense and some people still love them for some reason, "Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms" is a good example for this kind of bad writing people still love.
In "Maquia" there's a big world with a good amount of side characters, such as the mystic dragon-like creatures that slowly annihilated, The people of Iorph who isolated themselves from the rest of the world, and the humans who obviously are the "bad" race that destroys everything for power.
Yet, with all the potential of the world surrounding our characters, throughout the whole
...
movie, we get very little information about the world our story taking place in. The world wasn't just some extra detail they decided not to expand in the movie, it's actually an important part we need to know so the end would make sense.
And it's not only the world that wasn't expanded enough, nothing is expanded in "Maquia". The movie feels like there's 10 years old story we were expected to know. Every decision the characters made would make more sense if we knew where they came from.
There's nothing special about the plot itself, but it still had the potential to become a good fantasy movie, especially with such a professional staff.
I can't recommend a movie that feels like you started near the end of it, it's not worth the time.

Despite its name, "Only Yesterday" is not exactly what you would expect.
It's not about the decisions and their impact on your life, nor about the sadness of growing and becoming old. It's a pure slice of life.
I don't think they did it on purpose, making it "pure slice of life", as you can see many attempts during, especially in the end, the movie to relate the plot to their title or to wake the feelings you would expect to have from a movie with such title. The plot is heavily focused on Taeko Okajima's childhood, and as they succeed to portray the child perspective, they
...
never actually compared it to her 27 years-old perspectives. We don't know much about her current life, besides minor things that don't point on anything specifically.
Saying that the "messages" of the story aren't connected to the story is not entirely true, they are maybe not as "strong" as you would expect, but they do exist. For example, the movie includes many situations that Taeko Okajima had as a child. When Taeko was a child, those "situations" she had were serious to her. Now, the 27 years-old Taeko, can freely discuss them, as what we viewed as "serious" or "awkward" in our childhood becomes silly as we grew up and gain more experience - good or bad.
With that being said, I still really liked the movie. They maybe never accomplished what they aimed for (or maybe they did, who knows), but they made a very good "slice of life".
Obviously, not everyone can relate to this movie. There are at least 20 minutes that probably girls would find more relatable, and not everyone had a good childhood, if at all. I couldn't relate to most of it and that's why I liked "Only yesterday" so much. The movie describes a very realistic scenario, nothing that couldn't happen, and you have the chance to experience those things you're missing from your own childhood/life. It brought the emotions I was looking for.
Finally, "Only yesterday" is not for everyone. It's for two types of people: for those who can personally relate to the story, and those who can't and they get their dose from the contrast of the story to their own reality - Unless you're a very empathic person, then everything is good for you.
Jesus, do something with Taeko's face. She looks way older when she smiles - way older.

Like Makoto's previous works, through the whole movie, there's a sense of slice of life. Despite the little action scenes it had, it's a very calm movie, something to watch on a bad weather. Unfortunately, with all the great animation and music, this movie is a mess.
Imagine you creating a movie, and deciding to take the Drama/Romance direction. To make the movie emotional, you take your emotion-box, and you try to push the right buttons when needed. That's exactly what Makoto did, just he pushed all the buttons - all of them. He slowly, to match his style, created a base to all the emotional
...
scenes, but couldn't get the plot to those directions, so he jumped from place to place, leaving plot holes, or just gave up on those scenes making them look like a clumsy writing (which is what it is). It's not possible to include everything in a 90min movie.
Personally, I was disappointed. During, and after the movie, I felt like I learned nothing. Not about the great power of love, not about the power of friendship, not about the evil of war. They simply forgot to explain any of those, as they never explained how the scenes led to what we saw.
You still can enjoy the fascinating art, and the good music, but don't expect a second "5 Centimeters Per Second" experience.

--------THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS--------
Story (3/10):
So far, the story divided into two individual stories. The first one is about Mai Sakurajima, one of the main characters, and the second about Tomoe Koga.
Each one of those girls suffers from an abnormal problem (Puberty syndrome) that Sakuta Azusagawa, another main character (though he should be the only main), help to solve.
...
episodes 1-3, The bunny girl:
The bunny girl, Mai Sakurajima, became invisible because of the "Puberty syndrome". Sakuta, as the only person who can see her, trying to help her and on the way found that her problem is similar to the idea of "Schrodinger's cat" experiment. The story itself sounds interesting, but in general, it doesn't make sense.
For example, how they connected "Schrodinger's cat" to the story? As long as you don't open the box, there's 50/50 chance of the cat being alive or dead, so as long as the box is closed, the cat is dead and alive at the same time. Well, how Mai Sakurajima's case connected to this? As long as she doesn't act/model, there's 50/50 chance that it never happened? When you put a cat inside a box, you know about its existence, you just question the result. When Mai Sakurajima became famous many people knew about her existence, including her mother, and that it, there's no expectation for a result, it's not questionable.
So what's the connection? Why the people have to completely delete her from existence? If they forgot about the existence of her career, then she became a regular, random, person you meet on the street and not a ghost.
And how her mother connected to it? Even if everyone forgot about her career, how her mother forgot about someone she gave birth to? Mai needs to sew her umbilical cord back to her mother, to prove it actually happened and she actually exists? What?
Then, after Sakuta, with the help of the school genius Rio Futaba, finds out about the problem and that if fall asleep he will forget Mai (What?), he makes a very "romantic" move by trying not to sleep. Mai, that for some reason understood what's all about, mixing his drink with sleeping pills, and Sakuta can't resist the pills and fall asleep.
Then, Sakuta wakes up, he forgot about Mai. Sakuta looks at his hand, see Mai name, and he remembered about Mai... oh, wait, it's from "Your name", but it's pretty much what happens there. Anyway, our character ran out and for some reason screamed that he loves her, how it's event connected?
episodes 4-5, Tomoe Koga:
And again, there's a problem that caused by the puberty syndrome, and the series keep throwing scientific theories without a connection to the problem our poor girls suffer from.
Tomoe, a 1st-year student, experiencing the same day again and again, as she never satisfied with the result. Sakuta, who get effected from Tomoe's time-jumps, deciding to help her as she reminds him about his incel sister, and somehow with the help of Rio, they determined that Tome's puberty syndrome has something to do with "Laplace's demon" - It doesn't - There's no connecting between "Laplace's demon" and her time-travel.
So Sakuta tells Tomoe a couple of good words, hit a guy, and that's it - happy end.
Art (7/10):
It's a pretty good animation. That's it.
Sound (6/10):
The ending song is nice. Other than that, nothing remarkable.
Characters (3/10):
So far, and I don't see how you can get out of this, the characters lack developing. Yes, it's a pretty short anime, but it's not an excuse. The characters can't make such decisions only after 2 episodes. Where the love came from? I'm supposed to be sad without giving any reason to care for the characters?
Enjoyment (5/10):
So far, it's not the worst Anime out there, and the jokes, aren't too bad.
It's definitely something to watch between Anime's, if you're bored, or just want to expand your watch-list.
Overall (5/10):
So far, it's a pretty bad Anime from the story perspective and character developing. The character developing problem appeared mostly because of the lack of episodes, but the story itself is bad from the beginning.
To be honest, after watching "Your name" and "Owarimonogatari", it feels like this Anime tried to copy some of their aspects, it didn't go very well in my opinion.
Obviously, there are more episodes to watch, but there's no hope left in me.

somewhere in the corner of the world, a tragedy happened. Somewhere in the corner of the world, people lost their homes. somewhere in the corner of the world, people died. Who's Suzu Urano? She's nobody, she's anyone.
That's how I would describe this movie, it's a movie about the horror of war, and it's a movie about our individual unimportance.
Suzu Urano is not a special character, she didn't suffer more than others and had a very little impact on the story. She couldn't save anyone. many people went by, and all she could do is leave a watermelon flavored memories, like the drawing she drew
...
on the road. And that's all that we can do. In the corner of the world, many stories, bad and good, boring and beautiful, funny and sad, will begin and end, but they all will stay the burned man who no one knew, and only the bomb of your time will be etched in the memory of the people.
Billions of Suzu Urano's already died, about how many of them you have heard? their dream had many ups and downs, as Suzu Urano's life, like your life. I never heard of you. We're all leaves.
Each has its own interpretation and each interpretation is eventually what makes the movies beautiful or vice versa. To me, this movie was beautiful.
