When I was a younger h***y yaoi fangirl I use to love this, but after rewatching recently, I retracted my original opinion. Keep in mind I was around 15 or 16 when i originally watched this!

This is disgusting! It’s r*pe. There is no other way to explain it! A homophobic straight being forced to have sex with a gay guy isn’t romantic or sexy, it’s assault. Yet we are made to feel bad for the gay guy because he was “iN lOvE”? F**k that! I have no idea why younger me liked this sh*t but there is definitely better yaoi out there that ... doesn’t include r*pe! Please for all that is good, don’t watch it!

Tbh I knew what to kinda expect going into this nightmare of an anime! Child grooming aside for just a minute. The ups and downs of this anime was giving me whiplash and we get to the damn ending. I’m not spoiling it but give me a f#cking break!!!! Tbh honest I was thinking of dropping it a while ago but it’s on my damn fyp on other social media platforms I thought let me finish this car wreck. I already started watching before, if the FBI came knocking on my door I was ready to explain myself. I need bleach!

Now back to the ... child grooming, you’ve got to be f#cking kidding me. Now in other anime we see inappropriate age gaps all the time, it’s not a new concept and because Japanese laws only changed recently, we don’t think about it too much, mainly because most of the time we don’t know the characters’ real age differences or because the story doesn’t focus on that. In this one the age gap is all we see plus this creep practically raised her. Let’s say Japanese laws did not change, this would still be an uncomfortable watch because the whole narrative of this mess was focused on how HE RAISED HER and HOW THERE IS A 10+ YEARS AGE GAP BETWEEN THEM, also SHE’S STILL A MINOR! If this wasn’t the focus of the anime I don’t think people would have been so disgusted with this watch! Let’s be real!
