''Pain doesn't hurt, when it's all you've ever felt''
A story many people will call a masterpiece, some others disturbing, and others just pass it as another old gory anime. However what made me sit and down and wrote this review is not the bloody mess and or the people hating on it. I'm not going to spoil much of the show,I'm just giving out my review and opinion!
The story is about Lucy, a pretty pink haired diclonius girl,a very special human with invisible arms. Lucy was being kept in a special prison surrounded by ocean. Due to her ''specialty'' she was being kept there since
...
she was very young, till one day she escaped while killing hundreds of people on her way out.
Throughout the story, the episodes, the characters and the events happening slowly slowly build up a feeling of sadness, and happiness at the same time. Pretty weird if you ask me. That happens cause we get to see Lucy's past, cruel event's that happened before and to what made her the way she is right now. Not only Lucy's story though but also the rest of the characters. The show makes them fell very close to you,and it blends very good to the story.
The art is pretty good, considering it's a mid 2004 art, pretty awesome. Doesn't hurt your eyes! The series is unfortunately 13 episodes long however and at times it seems very rushed. Very different from it's manga as well but still an amazing anime series.
One of my favorite things about Elfen Lied, is the songs. They have one of the best soundtracks i've ever heard in anime. Probably all of them. In the opening they use art from Gustav Klimt, but with an Elfen Lied twist. I'm not gonna say anything else, go see it yourself!
When I first watched the series I was still very young, around 14 and I didn't know much about anime. I didn't really mind the gore, considering it being animated and fake.
The story back then gave me a feeling of anemoia.. a yearning for something illusionary..that never really happened to you,but you actually feel very nostalgic to it. Or maybe someone you've never meet in your life, but still miss them. Maybe a past you've been to before and you just can't remember. Perhaps a forbidden memory?
This anime gives me this feeling. Throughout the episodes it just grows more and more.
So yeah. That's it for me. I recommend it to everyone. It is an absolute must watch.

probably the cutest stories you'll ever read..
This manga is about a playful and adorable cute cat who gets rescued by a boy and takes it to his house, and we see their adorable and funny scenarios on the simple joys of their everyday lifes~
Aside from that this is a slice of life and comedy manga.. i absolutely love this manga!
Very short slides with a lot of chapters,i enjoyed them all! Kyuu-chan is just too adorable and sweet~
The art is great too,it has a very unique aesthetic style to it,with it's simple nude and pink colours which makes the characters pop and makes them adorable no matter
...
what..characters are also truly adorable ,you're gonna love each one of them!
overall i really did enjoy this manga, and i can't wait for more chapters!

"If I die first, I want you to die, too. If you fail, just keep trying. Don't let me down. Ever."
Woah,first review.
I remember hearing about Killing Stalking for the first time from a friend who was obsessed with yaoi manga ... I did my research the next day and there it was. What an interesting manhwa i said to myself..
I don't read yaoi, but i found this one very different and interesting from any manhwa or yaoi stories out there. I will be spoiling some stuff.
Let me just start off by saying that it's not a romantic story.
...
STORY: 9
So now we have Killing Stalking, a very twisted story about YoonBum, a boy who likes another boy and stalks him on social media. At least that's how the story starts. It gets fucked up very soon and you get to see how the toxic but addicting relationship between these two are. I really enjoyed the story, it's a rollercoaster of emotions and it's making you feel either sad or scared through the pages.
Art: 10
Very nice art style. I feel like the art was changing through and i really liked that. I also like the fact that they used specific tones of colours which put you into a specific mood too(like when things go dangerous ,some red tones drop and not only)The character art is also great, I loved their characteristics, their faces, and their eyes(!).
Character: 9
eeek! Bum is an antisocial boy who stalks his crush, Sangwoo who is also a psycho and a serial killer.. Just creepy. There is gore, sex, murder, and some fucked up themes surrounding those too as well, the characters, their development, and their relationship are for sure the winning point of Killing Stalking.
Enjoyment: 9
I did enjoy this manga a lot.. and i finished the full manga in 5 months.. and it was worth paying for it.. thanks Koogi!
Overall: 9
I liked it! i really did liked it,the story, the art, character development, everything was on point.. if i had to say something bad about this manhwa it would be the ending and the fact that it is categorized as ''romance''. That's why i gave it a 9.. but aside from that the whole manga was a great experience. it's sad to think that a lot of people see the yaoi tag and automatically turn away, and lose interest as if this is a violent gay torture porn. Cause really if you read the story you're gonna change your mind. This story is not for people who can't take it with dark themes however.
I will never even justify what Sangwoo did to Yoonbum or people whom he hurt - But I think the thing that makes me the most sad, is that... no one will ever know what these two went through. The trauma they experienced, and the physical and mental abuse that made them who they were. That is what gets to me the most. Their stories are lost, and no one will ever be the wiser. On one hand, Sangwoo got what he deserved, but on another, I feel... so bad for him. Then there's Bum... that hit me hardest. I wanted his life to turn around for the better, at least. This ending was so sad.
The ending made me really emotional. I wouldn't ever ship their relationship of , but somehow the Author really made me feel like i was in Yoonbums head when he got the ashes-heard from the grandma that he was screaming bums name-when he had flashbacks of him, i got really upset about all this.. But at the end of the day those were the ashes of Sangwoo so it was ok :D
Also, I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but... Sangwoo died the same way his mother tried to kill him as a child... smothered by a pillow. That realization hurt, a lot. Makes me upset that if he hadn't been through all this trauma he'd be a great man :/
But aside from that..for all of you who feel sad, Bum is with Sangwoo now. Though he didn't mean to, he fulfilled his promise to him.
Of course, let's not forget that this is all fiction :)
Thanks for taking time to read my review!!
