I'm not even kidding when I say Tasogare Otome x Amnesia is one of the best animes I have ever seen because this anime is legit the epitome of what one calls a hidden gem. What surprises me is the low rating this anime receives because this anime executes almost every single component of what makes a excellent anime pretty freaking well. Character development is prominent across the whole series and the story line is far from being cliche. Violet Evergarden, more like Violet BORINGARDEN!
Being one of the most over-hyped anime I have ever seen, Violet Evergarden is not something that deserves this much fame. Sure, you may remark the art and sound quality as superb but one must take into consideration the other selling points as well. The story is certainly average; it is about a once apathetic girl who goes on a mawkish journey for the sake of trying to comprehend and experience love. I will keep this simple and frank. This whole season was just a whole bunch of fillers rather than an anime with an actual plot. The story was almost nonexistent because there was almost no coherency between each consecutive episode. Art was not as good as that from the beginning of season 1. However the sound was good because the voice for each character was executed perfectly, especially Onodera's(I'm an Onodera fan). Manga started out well and then it went absolute downhill after the 100th chapter. Had a good plot but then when the harem thing came along, the story went deep into the trash bin. I initially shipped Touta and Kuroumaru but now other girls are liking him which made their relationship seem nonexistent. If I were the manga artist, I would throw away the other half of the manga and start out fresh again. Come here for the fantasies, not for a revolutionizing experience. Akikan is an anime where each soda can is a guardian to the one who drinks it. This anime is very generic but it does serve its own purpose of fulfilling anyone's twisted fantasies(including mine!). It's hard to go wrong with having someone be protective by your side as long as you live. The music for the first OP is pretty good(the second one isn't as good) and the plot by itself is excellent, though it can be better executed. I wish they would make another season of this and I will one day go

Plot was pretty good and artwork was pretty superb. However, that's as far as I can go with this anime. In general, the plot was not very well executed. The MC is a butt-hurt little boy who was pissed by the fact that his girlfriend rejected a guy who tried to steal her away from him. Shows no gratitude for the fact that she did not dump him for another one. Furthermore, in other scenarios, he is not very direct with his responses, almost to the point of incompetence. There are much better anime out there like Clannad and Tsurezure Children.
