As ridiculous as the synopsis sounded, I absolutely loved every second of this anime. In a time of Isekai Fatigue, this show is refreshing and unique. Is it basically the emoji movie done better (as in it's a glorified advertisement)? PERHAPS but you wouldn't feel it. I was tempted to give this anime a 10/10 as a foodie that loves to cook. I decided to give it an 8/10 simply because I know, for a fact, that this anime is not a masterpiece.
The characters are one-dimensional, the jokes get recycled, and the animation is pretty sub-par—but sub-par animation is to be expected from a slice

As a person who does not enjoy senseless action, I genuinely found this anime a pain to watch and I only finished it to get it off my list. My displeasure is my fault as I did not look into what type of anime it was before watching it but I will give my review regardless. I don't typically write reviews but I despised it enough to decide I would, for this one.
