That depends on what you like watching and what you are looking for i guess.
Personally i found it to be a great show.
If by hearing the title you expect a gore fest with badass people and crazy action with blood flowing all over then you will be disappointed.
The anime isn't very fast paced and focuses on building realistic mature characters. Many looking for just some action get annoyed and bored calling it slow but it has very good character development.
It has action of course but the action serves the story and not the other way around.
From the little i have seen from your list and profile, i think it's a show you would be able to appreciate.
