The first cour was amazing. The fights and the story were top tier. Bones did a great job in making emotional scenes. The buildup and context made the fights 100% better.
The second cour fell. Most of the story was boring, with 1 episode of filler. The scenes just didn't live up to the 1st cour. Some characters were just plain annoying.
The characters made this story feel amazing. The fights were brilliant because of the characters. Without the character's backround, the fights would just be boring.
Bones did an excellent job with animation this season. The fights were full of fluid movement. You can easily tell Bones

Up until episode 15, the show was great. It had good world building, plot development, and an interesting plot. The show hooked me in, and I was excited as I waited for each episode to release.
After episode 15, it threw everything away. The show left many things unexplained. It forced too much info down our throats. Some of the events that occurred were straight up dumb. The events were rushed through in a few episodes. There was enough material to have a 2nd season with 12 episodes. The show was still fun to watch, but I dislike the wasted potential. |
