This was a very fun watch, if you enjoyed the original series and its fun and light-hearted manga, you will enjoy this too.
Story-wise its what you'd expect from this kind of OVA, meaning, a light add-on to the original material that won't focus on any bigger arc but simply the day-to-day comedy bit you can have with the ensemble cast. That said, it does a good job at that, while similar OVAs stick to even shorter bits, here we have some proper "episodes" (2 per OVA) where the characters personalities, gimmicks and interactions are explored to their best and used in new ways, yet fitting
...
to the humor style of the original.
While the main series was also praised for its battle arcs and moments, these would need a bigger new season anyway, so I'm satisfied with the bits of extra content that are given to us in their daily, almost slice-of-lifey activities. You still get more insight in the characters, like with the cat festival in the third episode.
Art, Sound, Animation in general where all very good, dont let MAL puritan troll "reviewers" tell you otherwise, Yuuna-San may be one of the very best "ecchi" like series from Shonen Jump's last 2 decades (its good sales and decent lifetime will tell the same story) and the Studio did a good job in adapting all of their fun and wackiness to animated form.
