tl;dr: Comfy, cute, camping. A super light hearted, easy going anime that is perfect for people who like cute girls or camping.
Story: 8/10
For the kind of show that Yuru Camp is, I went expecting small, short stories per episode with not muc interconnected story arcs. I got what I expected all wrapped up in a nice, evenly paced show. It doesn't try to bog itself down with trying to create some major conflict or character development at the end of the show. It paces itself well to show the small growths of each character and the lives they live. It felt very natural and organic.

As I am loathed to use random words to describe a show, Yuru Camp's story was comfy af. Its very strongly paced but nothing to really push it into that 9 or 10 category.
Art: 8/10
I love it when a show's art style fits the shows central theme and purpose. For a story that's focused on camping and friendship, the bright happy tones of the show really fits this show to a T. The color palette and the animations really sell the bright, bubbly feel of the whole show.
Also the background picturesque depictions of the camp grounds and Mount Fuji are really beautiful. I think the studio did a good job of getting just the right angle in and having it drawn from all different angles too. Overall a solid job in the art and animation department. (Bonus points for a creative and fun OP)
Sound: 7/10
I would say its the weakest portion of the whole show but that's not saying much given how great this show was overall. The OP and ED are very defining to the themes of the show with the bright bubbly OP that is contradictory to the mellow and chill ED. They both perfectly describe the show: both happy and laid back. The rest of the sound I have no complains about but nor was I blown away by them. So its an easy 7/10
Character: 8/10
Maybe it was because this was just another cute girls doing cute things show but I really appreciated the characters in this show. Nadeshiko annoyed me as this super annoying and obnoxious character, the typical main character as you will. However, as we continued onward she really grew on me throughout the show as she did for Rin and the rest of the club. Her bright and happy nature really livened up the show which really fit her character and purpose for her being on this show.
Rin on the other hands plays as the more mellow character who highly contrasts Nadeshiko. Her solo demeanor and the way she carriers herself all the way to the end of the show is simply refreshing to see. The writers didn't forcefully give her a characterization arc just because she's the cool and silent type. I also relate to Saitou on a spiritual level of being able to sleep in until past noon when given the opportunity.
Enjoyment and Overall:
Man this show was amazing. I loved almost every aspect of it but its far from being on of my top favorites. It does everything well but not perfectly if you get what I mean. I strongly recommend this for anyone who likes moe/cute girl shows as it will deliver. You should also watch it if you like camping. It's always interesting to see how other countries camping culture/rules are different than the ones back in America. Overall 8/10 but I highly recommend it none the less.
