Story 7/10
I liked the story, I've come across similar themes in anime before so it wasn't to original for me, but it was still fairly decent. One of the things that kind of stuck out was that it had elements of theism, but it wasn't necessarily the only major story component. It did have kind of a drama / fan service kind of feel to it which I feel doing away with could of made for a better storyline though.

Sound 6/10 I actually recognized a few of the voice actors / actresses, the sound overall was good to fair.

It has the technological future we hope to one day see with the advancement of science, but presents us with questions about what it means to be human. I started watching this after finishing the, frankly, train wreck of a series Blood c that came before it. So I didn't really have very high expectations, that being said while the movie itself is a continuation of the series. I actually 'liked' the movie more than I did the series.

Not really sure what to say other than I saw what the anime was supposed to be about and got my hopes up only to seem then dashed further against the rocks with each passing episode. After episode 1 I wanted to stop watching, but kept going at the recommendation of a friend.
It wasn't just that the entire anime was fan service galore, I've liked Ecchi anime's before. But it was the fact that the presented plot was a background. This might be spoiler so spoiler warning : While it promised an inter dimensional survival war. The whole series was basically a high school ...

I really wanted to like this anime, I originally watched it because I was a big fan of Blood+ anime and thought perhaps this was it re done or a spin off. The premise of the anime is pretty similar, girl Saya lives among humans protecting them from creatures and can't really say more of the basic premise and how it's similar without giving away spoilers.
But my point was that the elements of story line are similar, but that's about it. The almost total lack of plot, plot development, character models, character development. Just about anything, it's basically just the elements of story line thrown ... |
