I am pretty sure this is one of those animes where you either love it, or hate it with a burning passion. I may be however, one of the few who are in the middle. Don't get me wrong, the show was absolute crap at some points, but at rare times it was a decent show.
Story: 8/10
The story itself is decent, being trapped in a video game isn't exactly a common story plot and in fact before I even watched it I was pretty excited. In the beginning things seemed to be moving nicely, but the further the anime progressed the more plot
...
holes emerged. It was moving very fast and there were more than a few questions unanswered.
Art: 9/10
This is the highest this show will get sadly. The animation in this show has a lot of stunning qualities, and it is easy to get distracted by the amount of detail that goes into the virtual world.
I rather enjoyed the differences in each characters appearance, the item designs and character clothing was also very awesome.
Sound: 6/10
The music did well with making you feel like a video game, when the standard in town music played I felt like I was actually there. But it felt like they used the same music tracks over and over again, I felt like it lost its meaning to the different scenes that specific track was being played in. The 'sad' moments especially, you'll see what I mean if you watch it.
Character: 5/10
At first, the characters seemed alright. We've got basic badass protag Kirito who enjoys going solo and refuses to join parties or guilds. I don't mind his chill attitude per say, but what DOES annoy me is that almost every single girl he comes in contact with gains some sort of romantic feelings for him. It's kinda frustrating to see someone fall in love with another while just getting ore for a sword >.>
Then there's Asuna, I liked her in the beginning, her sharp tongued and strong willed attitude was great. But what some people would call "Character Development" I would call "Character Butcherment" (Yes I made that word up). Asuna goes from this talented badass swordswomen to a helpless girl who cries, a lot. It was kinda sad to see a potentially awesome character go to waste.
There's also the fact of unnecessary fanservice towards a younger female character who seemed like young child, she just wanted her pet back. It was pretty ridiculous.
Enjoyment: 7/10
I enjoyed the series to an extent if I ignore most of it's flaws, the plot was interesting to me and I really did enjoy all the action.
Overall: 7/10
Would I recommend this anime to lots of people? No. Would I recommend it at all? Yes. I'd like to think it's one of those animes you can use as a test to see if you are past that whole "ALL ANIME IS PERFECT" phase which pretty much everyone goes through. The story and characters aren't the best, but at least it looks pretty.
About the dub, I've seen a lot of crappy dubs, this was wasn't TOO bad. If you are only into sub, just stick with the subbed. All in all, give it a try, just don't expect many people to take your side if you think it's a fantastic anime.

Okay, this is an anime I had a hard time deciding what I really thought about it. Highschool of the Dead is actually a good anime, but only when there isn't exaggerated boobs bouncing and seriously unnecessary nudity..
((PLEASE NOTE HERE; I am not a huge fan of fan service. But, I know for a fact that a lot of people do. Please don't take offense from this, if you are a fan of Ecchi and fan service, good for you! You'll love this anime. I'm not hating the people who enjoy that sort of set up. It's not my thing, but I am fully aware
...
that people enjoy it. I am just making sure you all are aware of this before continuing to read!))
Story: 9/10
The only reason I really rate this higher is because I really love Apocalypse universes. Zombie animes (And I mean like REAL flesh eating zombies. Not like "This is a Zombie?" zombies) are hard to come by. And I enjoyed the amount of action and blood involved in this anime.
Annoyingly, most of this is over shadowed by fan service. Lots, and lots of fan service. Now, a little bit here and there is alright. A lot of anime comes with fan service sprinkled in. But there is so much boob bouncing, pantie shots, seriously unnecessary nudity and the talk of relationships, it throws you off. It's hard to enjoy action scenes when boobs are bouncing in their owners faces half the time.
Art: 10/10
My favorite part of the series is the intense amount of detail that comes with this show. The animation is incredible, even if the characters sometimes go Chibi on your ass. In action sequences especially, it has beautiful movements that make up for all the annoying pantie shots.
Sadly, the characters are very similar when it comes to animation. Besides the male protags....Each of the females have the same thin build, the only REAL difference is their boob size and hair shape/color and eye color. But other than that animation is gorgeous.
Sound: 7/10
Nothing particularly stood out for me sound wise with this series. I did however enjoy the opening. Not at first, but it fits the series when it comes to taking it seriously (As serious you can get with this anime :P).
Any other music during the series wasn't really all that special, but it helped the situation emotionally at times.
Character: 6/10
._.
Most of the time these characters annoyed the hell out of me. Saya especially. They have very annoying attitudes.. The females are supposedly strong fighting female characters. But they complain too much, and while they are badass, half the older girls are bitches who complain most of the time, and the other half barely does anything. (except for Seiko, I approve of her)
The blonde main character acts very dumb, she says in the anime herself that it's part of her character. But they could have done a bit more with her than just having her act stupid and run around with her big boobs ._.. She was still funny, though. I give points for that. Comic relief perhaps?
One thing I do like, however, if Takashi's swearing. One I thing I like is having characters act realistically. Because honestly, if it weren't rated R they would be saying damn and maybe shit. But F bombs were dropped, and I probably would have done the same in the situation.
The male characters were much better than the females. Perhaps if some of them weren't so bitchy, I would like them more .-.
Enjoyment: 8/10
Like I said before I love zombies and end of the world type of plots. So I actually really enjoyed this anime, despite the amount of fan service, and annoying characters.
Over all: 7/10
I will recommend this anime to anyone who is interested in this sort of plot. But I will warn them about the intense nudity with in the series. It's a good anime, and it deserves some attention.
About sub VS dub. (note: I am person who prefers dub. Don't hate, I just started out with dub and I went from there)
the dub isn't bad, the voices fit their characters very well. So honestly it's a tie for me, I'd recommend the dub, but the sub is great too ^^
That's all happy watching!! c:

When the original Fullmetal Alchemist came out in 2003, it was apparent that it followed the manga at first, but them went on it's path. Which didn't make it bad, but it annoyed many people, including me (Even though I didn't watch it until about 9 or 10 years after it came out.)
But! Our fandom had been blessed with a reboot of the series that follows the manga, and is pretty damn good. I have been intimidated to write about this series because well, it's too awesome to tackle with reviews.
But here we go!
Story 9/10
This story is unique! I've never seen,
...
or read, a story such as this one. What I think I liked most about it, was the fact that it HAD so many episodes. A story like this one can't be just put out there and finish up in 26 episodes or less. They did an amazing job wrapping everything up at the end of 64 episodes.
What especially loved was the fact that the story flowed so nicely, even though when I first watched it I was confused during the first 13 episodes because I had watched FMA '03 before hand. You should probably wait a little bit before diving into this series after finished the original. It may seem the same, but it's a whole different ball park. However, no questions are left unanswered, and there are a lot of feels involved.
Art: 9/10
I am personally a fan of BONES, they do great animation work with a unique style of their own. It works nicely for this show, it has it's dark moments and the animation fits with that.
There's also the standard; 'Anime serious face' and the 'anime goofing off face'. EX: Ouran High school host club. I think BONES did really well, with character detail. But not so much with background animation, things seemed a bit off there. You'll see what I mean if you watch it.
Sound 10/10
Expect 10s from here on out, and I don't usually hand out 10s.
Ahhhhh this series has the most beautiful sound track, each scene that has music accompaniment has a set of emotion. The sound track can make you laugh and cry, there even have been some scenes really helped with anger or hatred towards a character.
They re-use songs a lot, but still have a large amount of songs. My favorite is 'Brothers'. You will hear that a few times, it's a sound track that I could listen to all the time if I could.
Character 10/10
The story of this series effects the characters in a certain way (I can't say too much on that with out giving spoilers). And what I really, really, love about these characters is that they react REALISTICALLY. I /adore/ characters who have negative backgrounds and react according to them.
Even Maes Hughes who acts as a comic relief, is serious when he needs to be. There aren't any annoying characters, and there are a crap ton of strong female characters.
You will grow to love all these characters, and feel for them!
Enjoyment 10/10
This anime, is hilarious, then sad, then action packed. I loved it and will recommend it to anyone who asks.
Over all: 10/10
This is an anime that will live in my heart for years. I've re-watched it 5 times, and never get tired of it. I HIGHLY recommend you watch this series, you will not regret it.
Now, about the dub. I'm a person who prefers dub over subbed. But I can watch subbed and I know when I hear a bad dub. This is NOT a bad dub. In fact, it's the best I've seen in all the anime I have seen. I also highly recommend watching this anime dubbed if you like it that way. You will not be disappointed.
That's all, happy watching ^^

Where do I start with this anime? To be honest, I was really unsure while starting this anime, I rarely watch this genre of anime in the first place.
Let's begin shall we?
Story: 7/10
When I first read the Summary I felt a sense of "Why exactly am I going to watch this?". The idea of a 15 year old girl wanting to have sex with 100 men seemed to be a bit far fetched, but none the less entertaining in it's own way. Not exactly something I would prefer, though.
One could argue that it's a pointless plot but in my opinion it makes
...
for an interesting story. Because to tell you the truth watching her fail at her goal and trying different ways of achieving it was indeed very funny. Through out the series the main character 'Yamada' tries to have her way with a certain boy named Kosuda, who happens to be a virgin just as she is. If you enjoy comedy Ecchi, then this series is for you
Art: 6/10
The animation/art work of this series is very...Colorful, I'm sure that is apparent. Bright colors is commonly seen through out the show. To be honest though, I didn't see any part of the art work that really caught my eye and make me say "That animation" xD.
The style of the characters is very appealing, and it doesn't look disgusting. I've seen a few ecchi anime's. And some of them created a very, erm, distracting, form of animation. Over all I find the art work to be nice to look at and not overly flashy.
Sound: 5/10
...I didn't exactly think that the music series was bad per say. But I didn't see anything that really stood out for me in a way that I would listen to it over and over. However, I will say that the theme song was very catchy. But really the sound wasn't very unique, it had a very moe kind of feeling to it. Which isn't exactly surprising given that it is an Ecchi anime.
Character: 9
LET ME JUST SAY THESE CHARACTERS ARE FUNNY AS HELL.
None of the characters that I have met in this series have been boring, dull, had no personality, or do nothing. The amount of character development in this series is fabulous as well. I feel the need to mention this considering the plot line. You'd expect the main character to be sorta slutish (Forgive me for using that term .-.) and vain. But it's the opposite.
Yamada is very nervous and self conscious, like as mentioned in the series a few times she thinks her vagina looks weird. I like how they treated her character and showed it in a very realistic way. When it comes to some one's first time having sex people aren't confident that they will do well, they don't really know what they are doing and are self conscious about their body. Yamada was a very realistic character.
For this I give kudos to the person who came up with Yamada's character, and also with the rest of the characters too.
Enjoyment: 7/10
This anime was very enjoyable to me, but not really on my top list of favorite anime's. It's funny, romantic, fanservicey and really a mix of ecchi.
Over all: 6/10
I feel a little harsh giving it a 6, but to be honest I think that is what it deserves. Maybe it's because I'm not really a huge fan of Ecchi comedies. However I would indeed recommend this anime to anyone who is into this sort of thing. I do seem to find myself watching it over and over again.
All though I would not suggest buying it (In my opinion it's not really worth it). Streaming it would be a good thing to go for. It's available on pretty much every anime site and it's on netflix as well.
Lastly, when it comes to the dub. I personally don't see anything wrong with it. I am usually the kind of person who prefers dub, but I know when a bad dub comes along. If you watch it subbed or dubbed it's up to you, but if you are a person who prefers dub like me, the dub is just fine.
Thank you for reading this, enjoy the anime :)
