I think that this anime is something more than just a story.
When I finished it I felt like a sensation of emptyness, but I wasn't sad, I was just disturbed, because NOTHING (either in real life) made me experience those feelings: it made me cry like I have never done in my life, because I felt like if I was one of the characters and everything was happening to me!
It made me think over the importance of the family and of the love, that are the subjects of the whole anime.
I really suggest you this anime because I have never tried something so powerful
