I got a pretty high tolerance for the "unappreciated hero" thing in anime. I'm totally ready to be pissed that he's being treated so bad and wait for the jerks to get their just desserts. So I went into this show with pretty high hopes. So, I'm pretty bummed that unfortunately the show also features the classic "world's most boring guy is loved by a bunch of cute girls for no apparent reason" thing. Ugh. First episode, I was like, ooh. Twist! This is kinda interesting. Too bad the remaining 23 episodes don't do anything with the setup. Like, the show keeps introducing more and more super-powered bad guys, and I was thinking "sooner or later, the heroes gonna start wrecking these guys." There's no wrecking. There's no anything. New psycho killers are introduced every other episode, like seriously just straight up murdering innocent people and crap, and then the show kinda backpedals and is, like, they're not so bad after all.
