Story:
Harumatsu Bokura is your typical school romance. I wouldn't say it's the most original out there nor the most exciting, since from the very beginning you already know how it's going to finish. Besides, the ending wasn't that satisfactory, since in the last 2-3 episodes the author rushes all the characters to end up paired with someone else and it doesn't give time for the relationships to develop. However, there are some other aspects that make it worthreading.
Art:
The drawing style is really beautiful, all the characters are really pretty.
Character:
...
There are 3 main characters and the story revolves mainly around them.
The main girl, Mitsuki, is your typical protagonist, she doesn't have a very strong personality and she's basically a goody two-shoes. This, although makes the story a bit boring it allows to avoid useless drama.
The main love interest is a very polite and sincere guy. He's very conscious about the situation Mitsuki finds herself in and acts very respectfully. I didn't find him particularly interesting but it was a nice change from the typical love interest.
Aya, the love rival, is, in my opinion one of the most interesting characters of the story. He is a complex character, very passionate and goal-driven, and this makes him stand out.
The rest of the characters are there for comedic relief, which is a pity because they are very well written and I think they could have appeared more in the story, or at least have a more prominent role.
Overall:
Although it may not be the most innovative story, the drawing style and the characters make this story a nice read.

Watashi no Cosmic Monster tells the story of Tsubaki, an apparently perfect girl, and Fuwa a prince from outer space.
Story: 7
From the very beginning the story is quite funny, the plot is light and not too deep so it allows for a very easy read. However, the ending seems rushed and there are some things and characters that aren't mentioned at all by the series ending.
Art: 8
Nice and simple, some parts of the body may seem disproportionate but it's not something that affects the story in any way. The facial expressions, however, are brilliant and in a lot of cases quite hilarious.
...
Character: 8
There are 6 characters in total, some are really well developed, like Tsubaki, the protagonist, other, however, seem to be lacking something. In general they're all very funny tho.
I want to give a special mention to the alien design because it was absolutely adorable!
Overall: 8
It's a nice, light story. Perfect for when you want to read a nice romance without the heavy drama.

Sarazanmai is a story about connections. How to connect with people and how over time those connections might change and / or disappear.
Story:
It tells the story of three boys: Kazuki, Enta and Toi; and even though at the beginning they don't seem to have anything in common, there's something that connects them. During the eleven episodes of the series we'll see how different their lives are and the problems they face and how they deal with them. Together they will help each other to go on and don't give up.
They do this with the help of the prince of the kappas, Keppi. Keppi
...
transforms Kazuki, Enta and Toi into kappas and they fight the evil in order to help Kappi to get his kingdom back.
Although the whole thing must seem weird the story gets more dramatic the more you progress into it, so don't get fooled into thinking this is a comedy. It is not (despite all the silly situations that happen).
Characters:
Kazuki, Enta and Toi are very well developed, although I must say that Enta has barely any development and sometimes it seems that Kazuki and Toi are the ones carrying all the weight of the story on their shoulders.
Keppi is a very intriguing character. At the beginning it may look like the comedic relief but it's actually very mysterious, you can't never be sure of his true intentions.
Reo and Mabu are two policemen and also some of the antagonists of the series. They have their own story going on and it's actually quite fascinating.
Haruka is Kazuki's brother. He plays an important role in Kazuki's story but as a character is not really interesting.
Sara is a fascinating character but she is not developed at all. I wish she appeared way more during the series taking action in some of the scenes.
Art
The art is absolutely beautiful. The characters are full of vibrant colours, the backgrounds are extremely detailed and the animation is very well done. There are some scenes that are quite disturbing and even gross, but don't be put off by them, they do not occur often.
Music
The music is really nice, with a very catching opening and an ending song that I personally love.
Overall
Despite the weird concept of the series it is very enjoyable. It has humour and also a deep plot and a very interesting message at the end of the series. At some points it may seem confusing, with so many references and puns but these details do not make difficult to understand the idea of the series. As I said at the beginning the whole message of Sarazanmai is just about connections, and being connected. The ending is really satisfactory with a well solved plot and a nice finishing line.
If you want a series that's funny but at the same time has a complex plot and a very meaningful ending, you should watch Sarazanmai.

Story: 5/10
The title just gives you the whole plot of this story. 'Nisekoi' translates as 'fake love' and that's it. This is a harem manga with the main plot revolving around a fake relationship. To be honest at the very beginning the story is fun to read and quite enjoyable but there is a point when it becomes annoying. There are 229 chapters and I swear to god half of them are filler chapters that take you nowhere. They do not help to develop the characters, neither help in the progress in the story. They're just pointless.
Art: 6/10
The style is simple and nice.
Character: 4/10
We have
...
Raku who is the main character, the son of a yakuza who has to pretend to have a relationship with Chitoge who is the daughter of a mafia boss.
Then we have Onodera who is the other love interest.
And then a bunch of girls who fall in love with Raku as soon as they see him. You know how the harem manga works.
And this is a probably biased opinion, but out of all the other girls Marika was the only one who had a proper developed story and the one who was interesting.
Enjoyment: 4/10
I did not enjoyed this that much. There were too many filler chapters, most female characters were not really developed and their infatuation with Raku barely made sense. Also it was predictable as hell. When the title of a manga is literally giving away the ending you do not need to make 229 chapters. Like seriously, what was going on.
This was literally the second harem manga I read (the first one was Love Hina years ago) and Nisekoi has done a good job reminding me why I find this kind of stories annoyingly boring.
Overall: 4/10
If you like harem stories, with pointless chapters and predictable endings this is for you. If not avoid it at all costs.

Story: 5/10
To be honest I had high expectations for this manga since I've read other stories by the author and I really enjoyed them, but it wasn't the case with this one. It started out great but then it got worse.
The story is like any other romance but it's very rushed and the characters are quite inconsistent. I'm gonna assume it is because the author is quite new and they're testing the waters, but this story could have been more than what it actually is.
Art: 8/10
Personally I really like the art style and it is one of the reasons that drove me to read
...
the manga in the first place.
Character: 3/10
The characters are poor, there's no development and they're completely inconsistent.
The main character sometimes is insecure (hiding herself from her 'rivals' or avoiding certain conversations) yet at at the same time is very proactive with the guy she likes, til the point she is quite annoying. I wouldn't mind a character that's strong and determined all the time, but this girl has not a definite character at all. It doesn't make sense that at one point she is not afraid to say what she wants and the very next moment she is avoiding people.
The love interest has no development at all. We see glimpses of his life but we never get to actually know him. He apparently dated his teacher once and it seems there's gonna be some kind of conflict in the story but there's nothing. The teacher appears and as soon as she makes an appearance disappears from the story and she's never mentioned again.
The guy who would be the 'rival' of the main love interest barely appears. We see him having some kind of interaction with the protagonist. Once again we are faced with a character poorly developed.
Enjoyment: 5/10
The story is mediocre. It can't even be compared with other shojos because the conflicts that arises aren't resolved. You can read it very fast since it's quite short, but there are better romances out there, and unless you really like Hatsuharu's art style reading this story is quite pointless.
Overall: 4/10
For me, this manga has been the disappointment of the year. I was expecting a lot because I really enjoyed the other stories by Hatsuharu, but this one is lacking in many aspects.

Story: 10/10
Despite being a shojo orange breaks from the typical high-school romance. Naho, the main character, receives a letter from her future self, in this letter there are instructions to save the life of her new classmate, Kakeru. The romance between Kakeru and Naho is evident, but the story goes beyond that and sends a very nice and helpful message: to never miss a chance to do what you have to do, to depend and to trust people and overall making the most of your life.
Art: 10/10
Tha drawing style of Ichigo Takano is truly beautiful.
Character: 10/10
Naho is shy and indecisive but it's her
...
personality what helps the story to develop.
Kakeru is a very nice and complex character.
Suwa is definitely my favourite character from this manga, he is kind-hearted and a great friend for both Naho and Kakeru.
Hagita, Azu and Takako are the comic relief, specially Hagita.
All in all I think all these are characters are lovely and each of them contribute to the story.
Enjoyment:10/10
The story is quite sad, and there are some moments you can definitely shed some tears, but nevertheless it has a very beautiful message.
Overall: 10/10
Great story, beautiful art, well written characters and a nice message. Orange is definitely a manga everyone should read.

Story: 4/10
To be honest for being a sports anime is quite poor. At the beginning you think the girl is gonna be the main character and she ends up being a secondary one. The story revolves around the two main boys and their drama. Mostly the blonde one (I can't even remember his name) and his inferiority complex with his brother. They participate in this competition of stride, which is some kind of parkour sport, and after they solve the inner turmoil of the blond one, we are surprised to find both guys and the girl were childhood friends and they had made the promise
...
of winning that competition. Not cliche at all.
So, to sum it up, the whole story is one giant cliche after another. The sport looks interesting but the story is more focused on the boy and his brother.
Art: 3/10
I'm actually confused with the animation of this series. At some points the characters look nice, and others you just want to take your eyes out because they're completely out of proportion and in general terribly drawn. And after 12 episodes the scenes with poor animation are way more present than the good ones.
Sound: 8/10
Surprisingly I found myself enjoying the music. I personally liked the ending song the best.
Character: 4/10
Little to no development of most of the characters, apart from the main one.
Enjoyment: 4/10
At the beginning seems nice but with each chapter it becomes more and more predictable and more and more boring.
Overall: 4/10
This series was a whole disappointment. It can't even compare to other sports animes. The characters are extremely plain and no developed, the story is one cliche after another and the animation is terrible.

Story: 9/10
Satoru Fujinuma has the strange ability to go back in time. When he was in school 2 of his classmates were killed. The culprit was said to be one teenage boy Satoru knew, but he was sure he wasn't the murderer. Years later something happens that makes Satoru go back in time and he sets up to discover who was the real murderer and save his classmates.
This is the beginning of the anime. I must say that the plot is quite interesting and it is well developed. The murderer becomes quite obvious at one point, but the anime still keeps you intertested in the
...
story while following Satoru's progress in trying to figure everything out. Personally I find the ending a litle bit unsatisfying, the thing with time travel stories is that there are parallel timelines and the story fails to give you an insight about this. It gives you hints and you can get your own conclusions but nothing is clarified.
Art: 9/10
The drawing is beautiful enough.
Sound: 10/10
The soundtrack is amazing. The opening is by Asian Kung Fu Generation, which are great, and the endin song is absolutely beautiful. The instrumental version of it is actually used throughout the series and it gives the perfect sense of melancholy.
Character: 9/10
Although at the beginning we find an adult Satoru, the majority of the time we're dealing with a group of kids who are 10-11 years old. They are really cute but sometimes they seem way mature. In the case of Satoru makes sense since he still keeps his 29 year old self mentality, but his friend Kenya acts way too serious for being a kid. And this is sometimes hard to believe.
Satoru's mother is a very interesting character and it would have been great to see more of her in action.
About the murderer I find a lack of development. The metaphor they use as an explanation is good to explain the fact that he is a psychopath and most probably a serial killer. But there's no explanation whatsoever why he chose kids as his victims. Neither why he tried to blame everything in one particular family. Personally I would have loved to see some kind of explanation for his actions other than a metaphor.
Enjoyment: 9/10
The plot is really good and is well developed, it is very difficult to find plot holes. At some point it can seem quite slow, but Satoru's progress is enough to keep you interested.
Overall: 9/10
A well developed story, with nice art, amazing soundtrack and interesting characters.

Story: 7/10
This story is heavily influenced by Frankenstein. The whole plot revolves around the possibility of reanimating corpses infusing them with their "souls". These corpses prove to be very useful after time and they're used for different works. Watson is hired to retrieve some notes that would help to recover the souls of the corpses, but there are some conflicting opinions. Some people think this process is awful, and some others want to take advantage of it. Watson will find himself in the middle of this situation and will have to take a decision that will affect everyone.
This story is a re-reading of Frankenstein
...
and the moral conflict it arises from the use of corpses. There are some changes, like the technology used, but the similiraties are there.
Art: 10/10
The art is stunning. The characters are absolutely beautiful and very different from each other. The details in the backgrounds are simply amazing. Visually, this movie is a masterpiece.
Sound: 7/10
The music is nice and it fits with the situation of the movie but there's not any remarkable song.
Character: 8/10
Okay, this may be my favourite part of the movie. All the characters are based in literary figures. If you've read the works it's funny to see some similarities between the characters with the original sources, like how Watson is actually studying medicine, for example. For me this was a very nice touch, but I admit that if you don't know the works this little details are going to pass unnoticed. Either way they're not necessary to understand the main plot but it is a nice touch either way.
Enjoyment: 8/10
I think this movie is pretty enjoyable. It can be confusing at times but it is interesting enough.
Overall: 9/10
The animation is amazing, the characters varied and the story is interesting enough to keep you entertained. The only problem can be the fact that the plot is not that original but a re-reading of Frankestein and that it can get complicated at some parts.

Story: 8/10
Fuan no Tane is a collection of horror short stories, that go from ghosts, to urban legends to superstitions. The stories are quite short and there's not real explanation for what is happening and I think that is what makes this manga so good. The feeling of uneasiness that each story gives you.
Art: 8/10
The art is really good. All the ghost are made in very disturbing way, some are just shados, some don't have faces... each ghost that appears is different from the other and it is scary in its own particular way.
Character: 7/10
There aren's main characters in this manga since they are just
...
short stories. But the characters that appear are very well represented from the monsters/ghosts to the people who have those terrifying experiences.
Enjoyment: 8/10
I loved these stories. They are not the kind of terrifying plots we are used to. The stories are short, and nothing bad actually happens but they leave you feeling uneasy and disturbed. These stories are not gonna give you nightmares but they won't leave you indifferent either.
Overall: 8/10
If you like horror give this manga a shot because it is completely worthwhile.
