So before I start this review let me say I'm not a huge fan of character development animes. So yeah this review will be a little doo doo. Anyway to start off the first 6 episodes of the anime is utterly boring in my personal opinion. It is pure character development with irrelevant characters that I hope either die or play a big role later on. Because this is literally like the Naruto filler arcs only thing difference is that's what half this anime is about. Season 2 slither arc was even better than this.
The anime shouldn't be called "overlord", but rather "Ainz and Friends".

Probably one of the most overrated anime this season, but anyway only suppose to give a review on it.
So your typical beta male being found by a female, surprisingly this female is an "alpha", while our MC is the typical beta lil boi who gets his full potential awaken by another character. I'd assume the typical virgin MC is what most people would imagine themselves being, and having a dominate female to take the lead because you're too much of a wuss to do anything, I'll tell you it'll never happen irl, only in animes, hence why this anime is "popular" get that dominate role ...

If you're gonna bother watching this anime just end it at episode 10. Don't bother finishing the last 2 episodes. Legit a great anime until I remembered it's made from A-1 Pictures, the ones who made SAO bad half way. For me it became bad after episode 10.
That shit will leave you salty af is you like Kayo. 9.5/10 for the first 10 episodes, after that 6 overall because bless NTR, wish I never saw the last 2 episodes. I think a lot of people will be salty for the next few weeks because of it. Thanks A-1 Pictures Previous - |
