So i just finished "your lie in April" and i must say i don't feel like its so good as people give it credit for. Please don`t get me wrong i am not saying its bad, i just don`t feel its as good as everyone is saying...
Let me try to explain myself. Not once was i even close to crying while watching this show which was a disappointment for me since that was what i hoped i would do when i started watching it.
It may be because just a couple of days before I finished ''clannad'' and ''clannad after story'' and I hoped this
...
show would fill ''the void'' which was left from ''clannad/as''.
The biggest thing that annoyed the sh#t out of me was that almost in every new episode the first couple of minutes were exactly the same as the ending of the previous episode, like am i watching ''one piece'' where i have to skip like ~5min in to the show or what? And by how much they were repeating "because im a musician'' or anything in those lines i thought i could make a drinking game out of it. It just annoyed me how much the stuff repeated itself.
And in my opinion Tsubaki was left out to much, they should have used her character and the love story between her and Kousei more, but hey that would just be my preference.
and the fact that they did not explain Kaoris situation was and is still bugging me, or maybe i just missed it and if so i would be happy if someone would explain what really was up whit her.
Other than that i thought the show was really nice. The first opening is already in my playlist so yeah the music in all of it was really beautiful and i did enjoy the art style.
I did like the show but as i already sad it did not fulfill my expectations, however i will give it some time to sink in and eventually if i change my mind i`ll come back to edit this.
So yeah that`s my take on "your lie in April" . Cya.
