I am writing this as someone who does not enjoy watching football at all, but this anime has honestly become my favourite of all time [at the moment that is so], it is so perfectly executed with little to no flaws by the studio, not only that, but the story, characters, plot building, etc, is some of the best I have seen in my whole time of watching anime and shows as a whole. This was a truly amazing 12 episodes, I didn't like the recap episode, in all honesty, but in my honest opinion I have to say, this is an amazing series, it's not for everyone due to the topics (obviously) but it really is something a lot of people could probably enjoy.
I loved the animation, story, art, the music used and the sound design. The characters were just amazing and have unique design, story's, backgrounds and overall have their own bits and pieces. I enjoyed this a lot and (without any spoilers) am quite disappointed at the special. I recommend you watch this, but I'm warning ...

The original 12 episodes were great, I loved them, those 12 episodes made me hype up this "special" episode just to be disappointed. It's unfortunate, such a great series (in my eyes) (possibly) ending off with with something this mediocre, It really is unfortunate.
First off, the first 25-26 minutes out of the 45 were a recap, this isn't something I had expected, this wasn't anywhere near special, it was just another episode but worse + a recap. Second of all, it was quite confusing, Im fine with things being confusing, but it's just that amount of stuff they just randomly introduced, [SPOILERS BEYOND THIS ... |
