Well the HOTD is my first ecchi anime to watch, and it happens to be one of those anime that is actually very enjoyable, even if the boobs of the women, are massive, and jiggle more than jello. But this review is just for this OVA.
There is no need to write anything long or fancy for this, because the episode is straight forward. Basically, this episode is about how the gang arrived at an island and had a wild and crazy night due to "something" in the air. There is no real plot to it and it is all about just
...
showing more heavy breasts and very soft core sensual scenes. That's it, nothing more nothing less. So, if you want more HOTD plot, then don't expect much. If you want more HOTD fanservice, then bon appetite.

Akuma no Riddle is about a class of 12 girls who have a task to kill a thirteenth girl, Haru. All of this takes place at a high school, and in a particular classroom, called the Black Class. Upon arrival, the 12 girls, who are shown to be assassins, are briefed on the rules, and go from there. The "rules of the game" so to speak, are that the target must have a notice before being killed and that if a person is able to kill the target, then they are granted one wish, which could range from something simple as
...
money, to something elaborate as a writ to kill. After the meeting, one of the girls, Tokaku, is against it and helps to protect Haru from the others. That is the basic plot, without saying any spoilers.
Story: Already mentioned the main plot. Each episode would roughly cover one of the 11 girls as they make their attempt in Haru. Each of the girls has an unique way of attempting an assassination, which ranged from simple weapons like guns and knifes, to more unique weapons, some of which I can't say since it would be a spoiler. During a given episode, you find out about what wish a girl wanted, and a brief flashback, that usually explains why they would want such a wish. Given that this was a 12ep show, the pacing was quick, and the girls only got one episode that would focus on them.
Art: The anime style was one of the few that I enjoy a lot. The color and tone of the rooms and the design of the girls, were nice and each of them had a slightly unique feature to them, whether it is being short, being tall, being flat chest, busty, etc. And the clothes sometimes would match the person's personality too.
Sound: The thing that I liked about the show, was that each of the EDs were different. Different video, different theme, and different song. The sounds used were great, the BGM was minimal but enjoyable, especially the fight scene music later on.
Character: This is where Im split on rating it, but Ill explain the best that I can. The characters themselves, were unique enough to be very different from each other. Example would be that one girl had a more religious background, while another had an extensive criminal background. With that in mind, the characters were very pleasing to watch and see interact, with my favorite being Hanabusa for reason that I can't say because of spoilers, However, the characters suffered from a lack of complete background describing. In other words, we were shown very little about the girls' past, and thus there was simply not much to learn for any of the girls. Usually, it would be something very short and basic, and that's it, For those who do not like melodrama, then it wouldn't be an issue, but for those who want to know more about the girls, well, sorry, but that didn't happen much. This is the second worse part about the show, but Im a sucker for characters that at least look nice, even if background info is lacking.
Enjoyment: I enjoyed watching each episode as the week went on. They started kind of slow and dry, but when things picked up, it got better. The one major thing that I absolutely did not like, was the ending. I wont dare say it nor give an hint, but I wish they did the ending the way it should have been, rather than what some people would like.
Overall: Overall, this was an enjoyable show, but the ending was such a bummer. The characters were pretty, the music was great, the art style was fine, and after the first couple episodes, it progressively got better. My favorite episode was the 10th one, but there were others that had good moments in them too. Oh, and lastly, for anyone looking at this in hopes of it being a yuri anime, better look somewhere else, because there were very VERY little "girl love girl" moments. Maybe one kiss, but it wasn't intended to be a kiss. Hope my review helps. Im still working on improving my critic skills.

I'm bad with reviews, and the top reviews are most likely what people will only see, but I'll still write one. Seto No Hanayome is hands down, the best romcom that I have seen, that uses the usual cliche comedy mechanics, and uses them in a way that is enjoyable AND funny, without being dry or dull. The story never had a dull moment and had a lot of humorous moments. There were even references to real-life movies which were fun to figure out and were funny if you understood what they meant or at least, what they were attempting to replicate.
The
...
description of Seto No Hanayome is perfect in describing this show, Ill just leave it at that. The story, was easy to follow. Its pretty straight forward and only has a few flashback moments. The art was a bit old, but I enjoy that style. They had various forms of it as well, so they can be super detailed and serious, or it could be like how Lucky Star is and thus be not so super detailed. The sounds, were perfect! They used the best choice of sound effects and music clips, for the various situations which made the scenes so much funnier. Characters were all loveable and unique enough to differentiate. Enjoyment, 10/10
Overall, I enjoyed the anime a lot and am extremely grateful to have watched it. However, I'm only giving it a 10. The sad part, is that MAL, does not let us give ratings above 10, so I'm forced to give it a 10. Oh well.

Still new at reviews but here I go. Date A Live 2, continues the story about Shido, who is a boy who has the ability to seal spirits, thus preventing them from doing large-scale damage, through dating them and eventually kissing them. In this second season, the story is slow to start, but it introduces the Twins spirits and the Diva spirit, along with an inverse version of an earlier spirit (no spoilers here lol).
I enjoyed Date A Live because of the unusualness of the plot. I mean, I haven't heard of a show where a person dates someone, and
...
then kisses them to seal their powers before, so of course it had my interest. Season 2 has been a disappointment for the first few episodes, but finally it has gotten back to what it was known for, which is spirits fighting, mecha suit girls fighting, dates occurring, and other things of the sort. The art style of the show is nice because it keeps things light-hearted and not too deep, although there are a few sad moments in the show, but those few moments, are kept short and are many of the times, resolved.
Sound wise, the music is great. It's not 10/10 masterpiece by any standards, but its fitting and just sounds great, especially the opening theme. The characters are easy to remember special in there own way. Between the twin spirits, the Diva, Shido, the other spirits, etc. they are all memorable and in my opinion, likeable. Personally, I like Kurumi because of her craziness and time control ability, but they each have their own little niche that they fill in character development.
As I said before, the story is unique in it's own respects, and I've enjoyed it, even though this season was much slower at starting than the previous one. Since the show has picked up the pace and has shown more action, I've enjoyed it more and more, although when comparing this to the light novel, the anime is flying through the story, much faster than the LN ever did. To some, this is an issue, while for others, it helps to cut the small details and get the main story. I'm split on this but the LN is a good reads.
All in all, if you liked Date A Live, then you will like this but just hang in there if you think that it is slow. This season was largely about introducing new characters and revealing new things about older characters. If you haven't watched DAL and think that this show is weird, bad, confusing, etc. then give DAL a shot first

This is my first review, and I'll revise it most likely, but I really wanted to write one for this anime. I don't know where to start, except to say that the story for this show, is just amazing. I will try to not say many, if any, spoilers, but basically, this is a story about a group of kids who live in a town in which the locals celebrate this event as a way of appeasing a particular god of sorts. However, the reason for this, is because of how strange events have occurred in the town for the
...
past 5 years. Each of these events, involves people either dying, or going missing.
So through out the show, you get to follow certain characters around and learn how they think of people and about life. I really can't say too much except that there are plenty of "wtf?!?!" moments in the show, whether it is plot related, character related, or just settings related. Anyway, if you watch it for the first time, you will get confused and will not understand what exactly is going on. My advice is to just remember what has happened, and think about how it all blends in throughout the show.
Besides the story, the sound effects, music, and other ambiance noises, are amazing. The sounds used when you see people change personalities, is extremely haunting! Best case of this, is episode 3, near the beginning-middle to middle when there is a "late night conversation". The music in the OP and ED are very creepy and fit the show, perfectly. As for the overall ambiance sound, you hear the cicadas crying in the trees and bushes, which is also why the show is called Higurashi, in the first place.
I personally enjoyed this show and then went and watched the second season. As for last bits of advice, there are a few graphic murder/torture scenes, but they are not that bad, but can be skipped if needed. Also, if you watched the season and feel like not everything was explained, then I highly recommend watching season 2 because it goes into great amounts of detail in explaining a lot more about the story, the characters, and other things as well.
