Honey and Clover is a Josei/Romance/Comedy/Drama story about College Life. While H&C's story is essentially different than Ouran's (and much more realistic) the general feel of H&C is very similar to Ouran. Unlike many shoujos, the main plot of H&C is developed on the friendships (as well as romance) and relationships of all the characters as a group. You will have a feeling of 'I really want these characters never to separate and be friends forever'. And like Ouran, the characters are unique and you will never forget them. Like Ouran, there may be love triangles floating around (like Tamaki/Haruhi/Hikaru) but in the end, you all know the characters still appreciate and love each-other. Just like H&C.
