Welcome to the N.H.K., here we go:
This anime comes with a pretty interesting plot: A man who has social anxiety issues forces himself in isolation and total social withdrawal, which makes him a hikikomori.
He starts being incredibly paranoid and creates some sort of conspiracy theory regarding a company called 'The N.H.K.', which he considers to be the reason why he became a hikikomori.
Then a girl appears and forces him into a contract which compels him to become a social person. The reasoning behind this girl was pretty fucked up, but we won't get too much into details.
The story in general is really well presented.
