I have watched a lot of anime, and the reason I watch anime is to find gems like Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso. I've never been big on classical music; not to say that I don't like it, I just wouldn't sit down and listen to it on my own. Yet when I watched this anime I got chills every time they would play classical music. The synergy the anime has with the music is gorgeous and it literally took my breath away. You will cry. I'll start off by saying that you should take the score on this anime with a grain of salt and simply watch it for yourself. This is personally one of my favorite anime. This and Steins Gate battle for my #1 spot all the time. My favorite type of anime are Shounen/romance, and this is the best combination I have ever seen of the two.
