If you ask me to show you a series that has been completely underestimated, I will show you Noien. It's an absolutely wonderfull series and I am surprised it lacks fans.
The animation is outstanding and the dub is great. It's almost everything you could ask for in a series, but it has been almost completely ignored by anime fans (I guess that could be a good and bad thing).

It get's a little confusing in a few episodes, but there is very little filler and it stays on track.
