When I heard this anime was getting adapted I was immediately intrigued. From the animation, the sound, and the story. Everything sounded so great and promising. I'm so happy I was right.

This anime follows a young girl is who is depressed. Who previously lived her life with nobody to call her family. Her name is Chise Hatori. As a result of that, she gives up ... on herself and sells herself into slavery. She soon founded by Elias who buys her for 5 million pounds. However, Elias isn't the creep who you'd think he be. He treats Chise like the family she could only wish to have.
This story is beautifully executed in my opinion. You slowly watch Chise's character develop. By meeting and helping people along the way, she starts to come out of her shell.
Story: 10/10

The animation is visually stunning. But I expect nothing less from Wits Studio, who adapted shows like Attack on Titan and Seraph of the End.
Art: 10/10

Both openings were great and suited the show. However, I do agree the second opening was not really needed but I still think it's great,
Sound: 9/10

From the main characters to the side characters. They are all very well written, because of how interesting their backstories influence their character and development in the anime. Which is very admirable in my opinion.
Characters: 10/10

Like everything, I've mentioned already. Anyone could probably tell I really enjoyed this series. I don't easily get hooked on things and my attention span is very great. But this show has proved to me that there is an anime for everyone.
Enjoyment: 10/10

In conclusion, this is now my favorite anime and I hope for a season 2.

I would like to remind anyone who's avoiding watching this show because of the age gap. Let me first tell that it's not the kind of relationship you're thinking. It more of a platonic relationship, so please keep that in mind.

Anyways on to my review.

Story: 9/10
So in simplest terms it's about this girl who's on the track team. That works at a diner, where she meets her crush the manager. A 45 year old divorced man. She doesn't know why she likes this man. Going out of her way to help out with his kid and him.

Art: 10/10
I think this art is ... beautiful, from the opening video and the ending video for that matter was stunning. And what can you expect from the studio that adapted The Ancient Magus Bride and Attack on Titans.

Sound 10/10
The music for this anime were both amazing! I still listen to them now. My favorite is definitely the ending song.

Characters: 8/10
Overall I like the main characters. But I will admit in some scenes the main character can be a bit pushy and sometime she can have her head in the clouds about her crush. But I think she's really soft when it comes to the people at work (not including the manager). I also admired the manager bringing the main character back to Earth. Telling her to rethink things (such as her crush on him) before moving too fast in decisions. Because he wants her to be happy, and he doesn't have the heart to hurt her in anyway.

Enjoyment: 9/10
I really enjoyed this anime. I enjoyed the story, the characters, the music, and art too! I would recommend this to people. But again please understand that this is not the kind of relationship you're thinking of.

Overall: 9/10

I guess to start off saying... if there was a season 2 I would watch. That's how much I enjoyed this show. Despite everything that it is.

Story: 8/10
There's a virus that only concerns with girls, for in which if she is found with the virus she is sent to an island to fight as a weapon or the one that uses the weapon. The story mainly follows two characters Mamori and Mirei. They are partnered on first meeting. And use each other to fight off or for emergency uses. However to turn into a weapon one must get turned on, meaning her partner must help ... get her aroused to turn into a weapon. Which is a weird idea, but gives the boys their yuri ecchi scenes.

Art: 9/10
The art is beautiful! Studio Arms did a great job at animating this show. The fight scenes are fun and epic. However, one I thing I will say is that don't be fooled by the appearance Mirei and Mamori. Although Mirei looks like she 25 or something she's only 15, so watch out pedos! And it might come to surprise that Mamori is older than Mirei by one year. Other than that the art is fantastic!

Sound: 10/10
The opening is absolutely beautiful. The song amazing, and it's one of my favorite openings at the moment. The ending song is really cute. The chibi version of all the characters were so cute! Especially, Mirei!

Characters: 9/10
I personally really like the characters. I can understand how Mamori would feel in this situation confused and naive. And I feel that's something people tend to forget. Mirei was such a great character showing the her unusually care for Mamori's safety. Lady Lady and J were such a great duo I think. Mei Fong was absolutely hilarious. Overall loved them.

Enjoyment: 9/10
So I watched a while ago. But I wanted to rewatch to see if I still believe in the score I gave it the first time. And I still do. I really enjoyed this show and I for a season 2 at some point.

Boobs and Yuri make a dreamwork ;)

This is my first review of a anime. So bare with me. But for this anime i'm glad it's my first.

Story 10/10

The story begins with a mother (Masane) and a daughter (Rihoko) trying to not break apart as a child protective services tries to take Rihoko away. As they end up doing so, Masane finds herself in a tied up in knot with a big corporation and a government agency. Where she learns about this mysterious bracelet on her wrist called the Witchblade. Which gives a very strong power, however using too much would eventually kill her.

Art 9/10
I personally think the art is really ... nice considering it's from 2006. It certainly aged well to this day. The outfits when Masane transformed gives the show some of a little ecchi for the boys. But it's subtle.

Sound 9/10
Although I haven't listened to the opening while watching the show. When I looked it up in my free time. I was very pleased, that it fit very well with the show. However the ending song was a great choice for ending the show. It was soft and sad.

Character 10/10
I absolutely love these characters Masane has got be one of my favorite characters right now. For how much she cares for daughter. And how much her daughter cares for her. Also enjoyed the little bit of romance between Masane and Takayama. I though it was really sweet. And all the side characters really cool too.

Enjoyment 9/10
I really had a good time watching this show. I guess the only thing I wished could of happen was a season 2.

Overall 10/10
