Unlike other "dark" animes, I consider this one of the darkest I've seen. What other show has a demon butler, a 13 year old boy seeking revenge, an angel as the main enemy, and a 14 year old snob drowning in his own greed? Whether this anime has some humerous moments, it is obvious that funny is not what the creator intended for this original masterpiece. I thought it was slow at the beginning of both seasons, however, the plot line quickly picked up pace and thus, the story of Ciel Phantomhive became one of my favorites. It is definitely not an anime

"This anime is definitely a romantic school comedy," says Tamaki Suoh. I would have to agree, that description is right on target. I think the best way to describe this anime is bubbly, humorous, and off-the-top adorable. Although this is not necessarily intended to be suspenseful, the very first episode has the viewer pulled in and left waiting to see what events unfold for the mysterious scholarship student.
