I got into anime a little over a decade ago, I was big into horror movies and was making my way through my moms extensive vhs collection and I found a copy of the 'Blood The Last Vampire' movie. After watching I googled "Gory Anime" and some of the first shows I ever watched were Higurashi, Elfen Lied, and School Days (I was 10 years old at the time)
All my scores for the shows I have watched are just based off of my own personal preference, like how much I enjoyed the show and whether the show is objectively "good" or not
Anything rated a 5 or above is a show I liked at least a little
