I'm a little chuby young man who lives in Sweden, in a isolated forest and loves cats and anime (sometimes manga, because it's usally takes me days and nights too read one page *cough* dyslexia *cough*).
One more thing... I also like too make catfaces... :3
This Is How I Rate: (1-4 is very rare that I rate this scores and even have not yet seen the light, but you never know ;3 )
1. This is absolute garbage, everything is wrong and this is the kind of anime the creators should be ashamed of and commit suicide.
2. This is clean garbage and should just be thrown in the garbage can if possible.
3. It's garbage and utterly bad.
4. It's just bad...
5. It´s average, not too bad and not too good. You get that kind of "meh"-feeling all over it and it could have been better.
6. Now thats something else! Little bit over average, yet it have a little "mehish"-feel to it. Simply a good anime ;)
7. This is clearly over average anime and should (in some cases) be watched by the masses if you got the time! But of course it can be a genre that you may or may not be a fan of and can in some cases ruin the view. It´s not perfect, easily too say.
8. That´s a great anime! You should watch it and in some cases atleast give it a chance, if the genre is spooking around and you clearly
don´t like the genre, watch anyway!
9. Nearly perfection! It´s maybe something thats missing that takes it from the top status, but if an anime have this score you should have watched it already and heard legendary ballads of it or atleast heard of it, so it´s clearly not an anime to count off the "plan to watch list".
{:(10):}It´s a fricking masterpiece!!! Dosen´t matter what you think or what you say of it, it´s simply a masterpice! Of course some can be very specific for the overall audiens and everyone have different opinions of it, but thats for ALMOST EVERY anime in the whole human history (and of course some can be included in my favorites). Anyway as I say this is the timeless, most likely the ones that will and is the ones that is watched for many years too come.
Hope this will be helpful and show a bit how I´am and some of the opinions of what I have in mind. I know that I haven´t seen alot of anime yet and still haven´t seen that many anime with 1-4 score and in many cases I'm maybe a little too nice with the scoring but atleast I have seen over 100+ anime, so thats something! Lastly wanted to say that anime I give 8-10 score can be favorites, so it can be hard for me to rate sometimes, but I try my best not to only rate the highest score for what I like. Sorry if my english maybe can be unreadable in many cases and I will write more in the future, take care! :3
MILESTONES
Completed Anime Milestones
300 Completed Anime Milstone: 2017-05-20
The 300 completed anime IS... The Harmonic Gleam Vibration!
Well... this was a very disappointing milestone, not only it tries to be very artsy fartsy,
it's also a very bad youtube poop (even when it's made just when youtube was created). I just stumbled upon this piece of "art" to see how the most average show on MAL was like because this one have the exact score of 5.00 (atleast when I watched it) and apparently it's just a bunch of different sounds with a really trippy animation.
But the reason why I don't give it a score of 1 is because of the very nice water animation and it tries to be inspirational or something... I don't know... It's just a trippy video. And one more thing that's good about it was it's only 10 minutes long...
400 Completed Anime Milestone: 2019-04-09
The 400 completed anime IS... Neon Genesis Evangelion AND the movie afterwards ofc. Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion!
Damn... what a ride... I pick this series as my 400th anime because I felt like I've been waiting for too damn long and I once tried to watch it way back but apparently forgot to continue it and didn't finish the show. I can't believe that I waited so long to watch this franchise, because it's simply just a masterpiece. As an anime fan you really have to at least try it out, even when you're not a mecha fan (like me), because otherwise you will miss out on a anime that's been so loved and hated through the years when it first aired and has been debated on if it's a masterpiece or a wackadoodle garbage because it's just so all over the place.
I will not tell anything about the show because it needs to be explored by thyself.
Me in the other-hand were spoiled of the anime in before hand (mostly my own fault), but apparently it didn't matter because I fell in love with it anyway. The only problem I had with the anime was the ending in the original TV series, the last two episodes were to damn long which could've been only one episode and little bit too anti-climatic, but the movie really helped out and saved the god damn decade!
Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion spiced it up and set the bar really fucking high to show how you make a fucking real ending on a anime and I must say that the series wouldn't be as highly praised as it is today, because the movie is even little better than the series itself.
Episodes Milestones
5000 Episode Milestone: 2016-06-09
The 5000 episode IS... Super Lovers: Episode 10!
Yeah... this was a very unexpected milestone episode... And is also the last episode of the 1st season of the series, because it's just been announced that it will be a 2nd season and everyone is SUPER excited to see what will come next. I will make a review of this series just because I can and of course I have reached a 5000 eps. milestone :3
But the review will come soon, but not quite yet... or maybe never...
6000 Episode Milestone: 2018-08-13
The 6000 episode IS... Gakkou Gurashi!: Episode 11! (Saw episode 12 right after ofc...)
It was a cute little show with frienship, love, playfulness aaand zombies... The show was supposed to a have this plot twist at the beginning, but because I waited quite a bit to watch the series I had it spoiled for me... Anyway, good show overall was a little disappointed with the ending, a bit slow and a little to happy ending, could have been more serious and executed better.
Being the 6000th (and 6001th) episode I think it held up fine and it's always fun to see cute girls in violent situations :3
7000 Episode Milestone: 2020-04-17
The 7000th episode IS... Listeners: episode 2!
Well, well, well... A show about mecha which gives away sound waves to destroy dark matter elemental creatures named 'Earless' in a post-apocalyptic future along with a teenage boy and a girl with amnesia (never seen that before!)... Seems like an okay show, but the occasional cgi animation and simple plot may be a little off-putting and too average of a show for some, will give it a chance anyway because it has potential. And it has good music ;3
Rated Episodes Milestones
300 Rated Episode Milestone: 2017-02-24
The 300th episode IS... Vampire Hunter D!
Well... I think I have seen this one way back, but have forgotten to add it in... But now for certain that I've seen it now, so that's good! :3
400 Rated Episode Milestone: 2019-03-20
The 400th episode IS... Dance, Dance, Dance!
This is a short music video animation for the band "People In The Box", is also animated by Kato Ryu in c. 4 min with stunning watercolor animation. Must say the music really fits with this smooth transformation and fluid animation that just blends together in a dream/fantasy like trance throughout the whole video. I would almost give it a 10/10 score, but not knowing jack shit about the lyrics is the only hindrens to make this simply a masterpiece. It's a must watch for people who like slick animation in a music video.
Wasted Days Milestone
100 Days of Anime: 2018-03-25
100 days wasted on anime IS... One piece Episode 829!
OMG this series never seems to fuckin' end, but in a good way at that! The series is a big and epic shonen anime that have alot of things to like about it and will have alot to offer in the future. But I will not go into details about the show as a whole, instead will write about the particular episode that fell into the sky on this particular day.
This episode takes place in the Whole Cake Island arc and is just in the second half of, or more correctlly in the "End face" of the island, which will result in the beginning of the final fight between the 4 major pirate crews (Straw hat, Big mama pirates, Germa 66 and The Fire Tank pirates). In this episode it's more of an preparation before hell breaks loose when all plot points come to a conclusion (The tea party starts and introduction to the new enemy).
I really liked this episode because we will FINALLY see some progression to this part when the fights will start swinging and this episode capture us into this next episode that will lead to a exciting outcome.
We will see what happens and maybe will see the conclusion of the show in about another decade or so...
