Dang that does sound pretty far away. I haven't really cosplayed as an anime character yet, because I just can't quite commit to the level of work and planning it takes. Are you buying your Miku stuff or being super crafty and making it yourself?

This is the YA Department of the Amarillo Public Library. I would like to invite everyone in the AC Anime Club to our event on Sunday, August 21st at 2:30pm. If you can't make this one, we will schedule one every month!

I have been trying to hunt down any and all anime fans to let you know I would be willing to host the AC & WTA&MU anime groups at any of our library meeting rooms on a monthly basis. We will provide snacks and always have a big-screen availalbe.

Nice! Miku is getting super popular these days with Toyota using her to sell their cars. Nice that you are changing it up a bit too. Thats a really good idea. Yeah Corpus is way humid. Basically fun to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. Did the con already happen?

Nice! I haven't heard about Onicon. The only con I've ever been to is Realmscon down in Corpus. It was pretty fun. The cosplay was very good, but there really wasn't as much as I had hoped. Beware, Houston is super humid! Who are you wanting to cosplay as?
