20th century boys starts off really strong with a global conspiracy that is leaps and bounds above anything else written that i have personally read. the first 100 or so chapters can even be said to be better than monster. After that it really nosedives into the stinky zone. Characters coming back with no explanation of how they survived, antagonist jumping between 1 guy to 2 guys then 3 which does not make sense especially with the information we are given. the beginning of the story sets up a mystery that you can solve yourself with the clues it drops. second half just throws random

Beastars may be one of the greatest character dramas I have read (within manga). It starts with a gruesome murder unfolding at the famous cherryton high school in a world where in animals take the place of everyday humans, only animals are split into two groups; Herbivores (The generally weaker, more docile animals) and Carnivores (stronger larger beasts). This might be one of my favourite cat and mouse style thrillers I have ever witnessed in anime, the characters are all built to grow on you to some extent, the story is an emotional rollercoaster that can pull on your heart strings all while feeling so real. This is another anime I have watched that no one seems to talk about despite it being absolutely fantastic in every way. 9 and 12 are my single favourite antagonists from any show, their combined dream despite the way they can go about it is amazing and the detective put on their case is just as entertaining

ID invaded is a real hidden gem, its a real shame that it went unnoticed as it has a lot to show as well as tell. The story centres around our main character who has the job of diving into life threatening situations to uncover the reasoning behind murders however they all seem to have some link to a mysterious man that they just cannot uncover. JoJo part 8 or rather JoJolion was a part that i looked forward to right after reading steel ball run and to say I was disappointed would not be fair, rather the themes and characters that are often the cornerstone of JoJo feel left out in places or at least they do in the last half. I could not put into words the masterpiece that is Goodnight Punpun. The art is breath taking, the characters are often hitting high points and low points that really make you question what or who you are to root for and Punpun himself is a fantastic character that most people could not tell you if they really liked him or not the entire way.
