Honestly, I wasn't much of a fan of sad romantic stories. They're usually so cliche, it's painful. Normally, you have your guy character with a painful past who finds someone that makes him happy; that makes him whole. Eventually, some kind of wrench is thrown into the plot, and what do you know? Someone's going to die, or leave for another county/city, etc. etc. Yet, Your Lie in April was done brilliantly. The music, the story, the animation. I'm not considered a classical addict; I don't even bother listening it to it, although I've played violin for 9 years. Yet the music was perfectly chosen
