This one might be a hit or miss for some people, but for me it was one of the best of the season. The reason I enjoyed it so much was the resonance of its main theme: that overworking often gets you nowhere and working when needed and when it make sense is the best, as well as being lazy when you can and doing what's smart. The show calls it "scientific thinking," and it's an idea that a lot of people don't seem to understand these days.

so genuine, as well as the fact that many of the events call back to historical tragedies and social issues. It really portrays well how unfortunate it is to live in a society that punishes critical thinking or sends its soldiers to die in needless wars.
The characters and battles themselves aren't the main appeal for me, but I did quite enjoy them. I almost dropped the show after the highly incompetent first half of the first episode but after that I really feel it picked up. Other than the two or three most important characters, there's not much to speak of, though. Ikta Solork is a highly relatable main character for me and even though he can easily overcome most of the challenges in the story, the cleverness makes it feel like he earns it and it also goes far in pointing out that he lacks in other areas, like physical strength, and isn't the most charismatic leader.
