I like "anime-esque" stuff like gacha games and touhou and vtubers these days but most actual anime I've given up on.
I don't think I've ever actually enjoyed an isekai anime and the huge wave of them that flooded the new seasons really killed any hope I ever had. I went back and watched the Devilman remake a while back and loved it, but aside from anime from creators I already know and like (Yuasa, NisioIsin, Ikuhara), I can't really say I have any interest in it.
that said
I'll be watching every new Monogatari season till I die
I actually liked it.
Not like a masterpiece like Tatami, but it gave off such a whimsical and storybook vibe I could just chill through most of it.
The writing was definitely worse, but the artstyle and animation is why I gave it so high a rating mostly.
The last like, third of the movie was pretty trash I gotta admit.
But atleast during the first two parts I still thought it was better than the majority of anime.
Or maybe at this point I'm so disillusioned over normal anime that a taste of anything different no matter the quality is enough to give it a 9/10. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Since youre planning Blood Sign, please dont be put off by the first chapters, or the first volume in general, it has a rough start, i loved it, but ive seen more then enough people not like the first volume, it gets alot better from V2 onward, and V5 is a genuine 10/10, all the people ive encouraged to read more after the first volume all came to love it

The first episode gave me some kind of migraine so I quit while I was ahead. Maybe someday I'll feel in the mood for spelunking adventures.
