This anime started with a unique concept that plays on the rental girlfriend scene in japan irl but it fails to achieve any sense of quality due to the following:
Story 3/10
-The story is extremely bumpy and really never takes off, it also fails to follow one line of story when developing the characters. Juggling all the girls and their screentime was the main flaw with the story. It constantly jumps from one thing to another like a child on redbull.
Sound 6/10
-Uhhhh, great OP by the peggies? That is literally all
Characters 3/10
-They almost feel like real people and for anime that's not the way to go,
...
whilst it can be relatable at times it really just has you wondering... Why? Why is the MC so annoying? Why is a scumbag? The anime really failed to introduce the characters with a solid foundation, instead they chose the "oh hey have this waifu, she does something cute and will make you think she's got potential" only to destroy your hopes by jumping onto the next girl before anything concrete can happen
Enjoyment 5/10
-You can certainly enjoy this anime just don't question too many things and don't expect the main character to not be bitch
Overall 6/10
Animation quality and character designs do make for some nice eye candy with vibrant effects/backgrounds but the characters just really fail to leave a lasting impression, maybe it's due to rushing of the story to fit it into one season but I just can't help but feel it's missing so much even though this anime has a lot of potential.

Do you like wholesome anime? Do you like fantasy mixed with comedy? Do you like a group of girls with different character types that cover most stereotypical waifu's?
If you answered yes to any of the two questions then this anime is for you. To keep it short and sweet PC RE:DIVE is an anime that follows a group of friends (varying in IQ levels) as they enjoy themselves in this fantasy world, overcoming any random BS that comes their way.
There is a plethora of slapstick comedy that doesn't feel like some early 2000's sex jokes (or poorly translated engrish) so if you just
...
feel like binge watching a quick show that meets all your basic fantasy/comedy/slice of life/subtle romance then this is the show for you. That's all there really is to the anime as there's no complicated plot or characters, just an entertaining group of idiots that you could probably relate to or compare to your own friends.

Recently the trend for the past two seasons has been "Crunchyroll Webtoon Adaptations". Now, God of Highschool is by no means a great anime adaptation and at this moment in time I wouldn't recommend wasting time on watching it.
Whilst GOH isn't an inherently awful, this anime fails to capture the intensity and well written story from the original source. The first 5 episodes are extremely mundane but after that the story shows off more flashy techniques and actually starts to shape up what the anime has to offer for the future....
Until you realise that this is only 13 episodes long and will suffer
...
the same fate that 'Tower of God' faced- a rushed story that struggles to encapsulate its viewers- at least in TOG there were some decent characters that were built up from the get go and as viewers we had the relationship of Rachel and Twenty-Fifth Bam to focus on.
On a positive note, we can see that anime as a medium is having a massive overhaul, webtoons are going to be more common and as they experiment with anime adaptations such as GOH they can only get better with future releases.

“Things are not always what they seem; the first appearance deceives many; the intelligence of a few perceives what has been carefully hidden.”
― Phaedrus
Bungou Stray Dogs is a series that (in the west at least) goes under the radar of many anime fans, similar to shows such as Kekkai Sensen, it follows a simple formula of weak protagonist turns strong, mental trauma overcome and a band of memorable characters along the way. BSD however, does an excellent job at something that isn't usually the easiest thing in the world. Weaving in multiple stories/backstories at once whilst keeping the viewer entertained.
If you
...
enjoy a very well balanced anime that deals with tragedy, loss, humour and the forming of bonds (even amongst enemies) then this series as a whole is worth the watch. In addition to this, the studio behind the BSD (Bones) often uses emotive facial expressions to cause portray a wider image of varying circumstances and their overall animation quality only adds to the experience.
Other notes:
- Fluid Story (questions usually get answered quickly)
- Involves you thinking about what's going to happen next (Immersion)
- Never a dull moment (action scenes can be lacklustre but just like BNHA it focuses more on the resolution the battle is leading to)

Is there anything wrong with indulging in simplicity?
One of the many questions I found myself asking, during each week of "overpowered-yet-screwed-over shield man", was that is this series going to do something to stand out from any of the other isekai anime that we have been flooded with in the past few years. As it stands having watched the full series, this doesn't seem to be the case, but that doesn't mean that The Rising of the Shield Hero (Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari) deserves the same hate or distasteful comments that other "Isekai-trash" such as In another world with my smartphone receives.
Without wasting too
...
much of your valuable weeaboo time there is a mindset that you should enter Shield Hero with when choosing to watch or judge it...
It never promised anything that we haven't seen before.
1) Man transported to another world
2) Instantly gains an overpowered item/ability that puts him above the rest in said another world
3) Something major happens that forces a long training montage blah blah blah
You get the point.
However, going back to my original point of enjoying simplicity, The Rising of The Shield Hero ever since the first episode has promised to give us a heavily character focused story that does exactly as it says on the box. This isn't the case of most other anime that throw fanservice or flashy animations to distract you from a lack of plot progression or worth but it is rather an anime that shows you the struggles and growth of Naofumi (The Shield Hero) as well as his adorable cast of sidekicks who only compliment this story. This anime was definitely not a waste of my time and filled my Wednesday's with some sense of laid-back enjoyment.
So I'm looking forward to a potential selection of OVA's or even a second season but as it stands i feel like making a second season probably wouldn't be a great idea because it would lose the appeal that it had in the introductory season- being that Naofumi is a hated/misunderstood MC who has to go from the bottom to the top
(Don't forget that this anime gave us as the anime community another girl to hate on that that wasn't Emilia, Ichigo, Saionji or Sakura to name a few- if you haven't seen this series then at least watch the first few episodes to understand the pain)

(First time really writing an actual review, spoiler free too)
Kenja no Mago needs no serious introduction as it is your average run of the mill power fantasy with plenty of fanservice loitered around the place. It should be noted that when deciding whether to watch it, or throw it into your trash can of isekai anime, that it's not going to be as intense or story driven show like other anime (such as Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari) but it is rather a relaxed shounen/fanservice anime like Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni.
There isn't particularly much to write home about in terms of the animation
...
quality or developed characters but if you are an individual who enjoys feeling somewhat attached to a strong main character then Shin Wolford is most likely right up your alley as one thing this anime does decently is constantly have Shin analysing everything, whilst also explaining it directly to the viewer. Sadly apart from this as it stands there is currently nothing else really to write home about...
(I will hopefully be watching the rest of this short series with fairly low expectations treating it as more of a filler for my Wednesday afternoons, apologies if this review didn't help you in the slightest bit but it was my own very honest opinion of the show Kenja no Mago)

Devil's Line is one of those anime's that tries to fit in too much into a short 12-episode airing and ends up falling over its own feet. I would recommend that you watch this anime with an open mind and just know that if you came here for any kind of intimate or intense story you are in the wrong place, sadly.
I don't like being too critical about anime as at the end of the day it's whether you found some kind of enjoyment out of it but DL had me constantly wondering when I was going to receive concrete answers to many of the
...
mysteries surrounding the MC, when in actuality they get pushed to the side or answered very briefly/vaguely meaning that they could have developed a story that got the viewers more involved but chose not to. However, DL has a tendency to re-use and recycle very basic character traits that in the end just make it a very round-about anime making you feel that you wasted a large amount of time.
