A Really Underrated Series!
This series was such a delightful surprise — a hidden gem that deserves way more attention! It’s a fun blend of comedy and slice-of-life, with a charming touch of absurdity that reminds me of Yotsuba&! — only here, Mayo is not just an energetic kid, she’s the supreme commander! Even the government agents trying to monitor her end up getting pulled into her wild and heartwarming antics.

The story might not reinvent the wheel, but it executes its concept so well that you can’t help but smile through every chapter. It manages to tackle some deeper themes and societal issues subtly, wrapped in ... the innocence and hilarity of Mayo’s world — and the way it balances humor with emotional moments is genuinely impressive.

The art style is another standout — super cute, expressive, and fits the tone perfectly. You can tell the artist had fun with every page.

The supporting characters are just as lovable as the leads. Whether it’s the bewildered officials, Mayo’s loyal inner circle, or everyday townsfolk, they all add richness and charm to the story.

If you’re a fan of Yotsuba&!, Spy x Family, or quirky, heartwarming manga that make you laugh and feel good, this is a must-read. Definitely one of the most underrated series I’ve come across — highly recommended!
