What exactly is a low score for you? In a scoring system from 1 to 10 everything from 6 and above is higher than average and therefore I would say its a high score. I have rated 34% of all anime I watched with that score.... 40% if you only include anime that I completed. So how did you get the 10%? Additionally you have to consider that anime I enjoy I rewatch and anime I dont enjoy I either drop or watch with 2x speed just to see if the ending is interesting. So all in all I would say that well over 50% of my anime viewing time is spend with shows I enjoy.
Also, lets say you are right and I only enjoy 10% of the anime I watch. Maybe those 10% are so good that its worth going through the 90% garbage?
Guess my principles and views on morality have been deteriorated by mindless media and a lack of integrity. I have managed to dismiss egregious parts but you're definitely right. I should definitely have higher standards.
I like it because the animation is nice, and because to me many character motivations are interesting. Powerful dialogue to characterize and a interesting world. VS moral objections. It would be such a inconvenience to consider morality and attempt to uphold integrity and ethical beliefs while watching anime.
