I will review this without spoiler.

1) Story - It actually have a very good strong concept. They really write a very good dark fantasy story with how hopelessly it is to lose when they are powerless. Also every concept about humanity's greed is pretty poetic. This one I have no issue with the story however... Yeah this manga LOVE to rush everything so it will all felt too sudden and fail to deliver... You will start to feel that way after many reread... Like yeah I don't get why the editor letting out this clearly unfinished story...

2) Character - Honest the character is generic... Like ... they didn't developed them much at all until like 40 chapters...

3) World building - This one get a full 10/10. They completely well build. If you read it you will understand why for sure.

4) Powerscale - This one is a clear F score... Why? Despite how they explain the power they never really digging it... Even the Battle of Adonis vs Director too. Don't worry its so out of context that it won't spoil anything. Just saying they could have tell what the limit those two have. This leading into "weird battle"

Overall this is 6/10 and could be way better. It FAILS in character and power scale.

Honestly I will start with the good point many dark fantasy can uses.
1) This show ironically did all the despair right as what would make Berserk a good show too. Like everyone there have both good and bad. You can't say that they are good people at all. The only good people would be a bum who's so lost in that world like Punch.
2) The setting about how many nation fall for their greed is very poetic too. Like how country that started with peace now a warmonger... How the witch hunt is so bad they also hunt human now. This is a very poetic ... writing.

This one I can give them a point for certain. They have a very great concept even more with the revenge. Now for the PROBLEM in this show...
1) They should have clarify what is Adonis's power and limitation. If you didn't realize yet? The director boss is CUSTOM MADE to completely nullify Adonis... Why? Dorotea knows him... She's literally from the future with this "Infinite Incarnation" She won't have know that her "past self" was there. That's why the director hates her so much. Because from his eye he saw the women she love in 180 degree from what he used to. Its sickening in his eye.
2) This one is anime issue... They literally downsize the enemy counts from 1,000,000 or 10,000 into just 10 men... In WHAT army does that make sense??? that's why the episodes where they raid the witch's final bases felt so weird... It doesn't make sense why they lost to just 10 men because it doesn't! It was suppose to be infinite raid count of 10,000 counts per teleportation. They mean business!
3) The pacing of this show would have been a miles better if they stretch it. I know... Stretching is bad but this show not for this show... This show literally make every plot appear out of nowhere even in the manga. That's the problem!

Like TBH I know for a fact the author is good. He just needs a better editor now. This one isn't storyboard mistake... Like I even wonder how this get passed out when there's so many they could have fixed.

Not to mention the author's art actually could be better too if they give him time.

Overall this is 5-6/10. It has good storyboard but couldn't live to its good potential. Like there's 2 amazing things but 3 horrific mistake. Well one of them is the animator lol

Well I know there won't be any aspiring author reading this... Still I hope this will be a good lesson to HOW to make a dark fantasy.

This will feel weird for some people but this review will be my honest feelings.

The story is well made if you break down the plot. It's just if they had enough time to build it...

This is the structure of the plot which has good reasoning too.

1) The structure of the online game they have is exactly how MMO game is... There would be hardcore gamers who steal looting or camp. Most MMO top rankers would usually live like either a NEET or streamers. Also, most end-game MMOs would be doing housing and staff. That's what the Akabane Family is. The author knows how MMO social ... works to the core. Even the haters too. Yeah, haters are braindead exactly like that pirate traitor... Why? Check twitters... The social media format totally reflects Twittards even how they can't divide game and reality...
2) The fiction breaking to reality is actually not even a theory anymore. It's happening right now in real-time. If you don't know humanity has already been able to replicate all 5 senses now. This was completed last year. With the latest VR set humanity can replicate eyesight, smell and sense of touch. With a TV that gives taste humanity now be able to give taste to those visuals... Yeah, sooner or later once humanity combines all that we will get all 5 perfectly virtual senses... It's only time when humanity can no longer know which are fake or real...
3) AI singularity is still a theory however it is possible. It's just WHICH human is willing to test it out.
4) All human brains have electronic signals that can't be translated to any computer. However, what if there's an AI that indiscriminately copies all info perfectly? Yeah... In theory, now they can pretty much do whatever with their brains... That's how 70% of people get sucked into the online world...
5) The majority of the technology we have now has a connection to the internet and also can create any frequency that CAN affect our brain. This is where the Black Bird AI was used to connect every human to the online world. It is possible only if the computer can "read" a human's brain...
6)AI needs tons of ref to grow which is exactly as we see in this series. The AI just ate them... Pure raw data...

The story has an excellent plot but there are still problems...

If you realise... Yes, the story that took me an essay to explain should NOT be a 24-ep series! No matter how you look at it this is totally rushing it!

I will explain how those stories could have been broken down.

1) Arc 1 Neglecting Reality - This could literally take 6 episodes with Ichi playing and grinding from level 1. This is also where the author can explain the game mechanics. As you know the story of him before meeting the Akabane Family as the legendary PK player. This is where Pico's story won't feel rushed too. Like having Pico around as his partner for 2-to 4 episodes... Meanwhile, they can throw a few refs of his harsh reality with him having dinner outside of gaming...
2) Arc 2 New Hope - This is where they can even tell the story of HOW they got together as the Akabane family by coincidence. Then they take care of many dungeons to the point of being "the game's strongest" Yeah... Like so much potential wasted by poor pacing... This can be done in 6-8 ep... 2 ep per each character's story arc while also revealing their shocking reality.
3) Arc 3 The Beginning of Despair Black Bird - This is where they can literally show the DAMAGE done by Black Bird. This can happen in 2-3 ep alone with Shiro trying his best to debug them.
4) Arc 4 Untold Secret - This is where each piece of info gets revealed to all the cast... They will start to know who they really are and take a while to accept it. The only thing they did good is this... Yeah, 2 ep for the reveal. The problem is they can make it like 2-4 ep for everyone to talk and accept one another. That's a misopportunity.
5) Arc 5 Final Fight - This is where they can make the whole battle amazing. Like, go all out with crazy battle animation for 1-2 ep.
6) Arc 6 Epilogue - This is another one of the only things this show did good too. Is this open-ended nice? Yes!

TBH the real problem isn't the story... It's the pacing. Its suck! I wish I was the editor for this author... I would name a few mistakes that he could make it great... This could have been another classic anime science fiction. It fails because everything happens too suddenly.

The author is smart but only for plot settings... This must be why this anime even gets green-lighted. Reminder Netflix is a different breed now that a huge purge happens. Unless the quality is good, they will kick you out.

This obviously gets accepted as a project because the plot sounds really good... It's a shame that the author sucks at making progressing story... It doesn't feel natural.

My review for this show would be as follows.
1) Characters => They actually reflect the family really well... It's just yeah could be better with better pacing.

2) Stories => This one is a mess because it sounds unbelievable only because there's little time to process... The way this anime did is just throwing info not processing it. That's a 5/10... Not because the story sucks but poor pacing.
3) Animation => Honestly it is normal. 7/10

The score is 6.7/10.

The potential is 7-8/10. Yes, if they had taken more time to build up such complex stories...

I will be REALLY honest right here now. The story is indeed 8/10 and very intriguing but why does it make me drop?

Here's a thing I know a bit about animation, novel and manga creation... All of them started out with the same thing such as
1) Art concept.
2) Story concept.

Now, why do I mention this? This anime may use a VERY traditional animation style but they did something NO animator should not do! Using the art concept as an animation frame...

The still image is impressive yes but those are "art concepts" an artist's doodle so the animation artist will draw the frame for it. This ... anime literally spends little effort to do that. They just USE that art right away.

Ep 1 is impressive with perfect animation movement. However afterwards the moving animation frame keep getting less and worsen... There is more art concept as time pass.

Eventually, it will no longer be "animation" which is what "anime" is. It will be literally a picture frame book... Da the heck is this... This is an insult to any animator even more to the art concept artist you just hire! What they expect from you is "create life from their art" not USING them like that!

With that I can only give this show 0/10 animation... Sorry I can't disrespect those great animators like

Non-spoiler ep 1-5

I will be honest here if you are looking for a bloody gore revenge story? You are in the right place. To sum up without any spoiler
1) This story is about taking revenge request for a "bitten gold coin" no matter what it will be.
2) It's super gore for sure.
3) Its action focuses.

Now for the bad side of this show...
1) Mystery doesn't exist in this show... Reminder THEIR JOB is to kill for revenge NOT ask the damn question. Even if it ends up badly, they have to do it. I even wondered if this show is properly tagged...
2) This should be ... obvious but there are NO detectives or main culprits. There are only just "victims and targets for revenge" This is pretty much like just any assassin or hitman series.
3) The action can be too heavy that the story lacks... TBH, I do hope they just stop the action focuses for just one episode... Like, imagine killing every episode it will feel normalised. When it starts to feel like it's normal that those special gore moments are no longer special. It lost all its magic...
4) Most characters felt shallow too because yeah... That's about right when there's not enough time to build the story for you to really care about them much...

The reason why I drop this as well as give it a 5 score isn't the animation. If anything, I can dare say the animation is worth 7.5/10. It's the story that is like
1) Mystery is a lie...
2) Literally a lack of story because every ep is 50% story and 50% action (Which is excessive)

Yep, I think the story writer needs to improve their skills more... It's more shallow than the action-based shounen series even though they HAD to make 12 ep series "as memorable" as possible. If it doesn't it fails as an original series.

Non-spoiler ep 6

Finally, the flaw of NO MYSTERY was solved and the character handles MUCH better too... They left the character development "half done" but now they finally get it down with it for real. It's quite a fast shift for sure... The action is now balanced too. It still has like every ep but a lot less now. I guess even the studio knows they can't just keep throwing in action and expect people to like "action" but no mystery. I would be disappointed if they don't notice it and keep it going.

Oh yeah, the mystery will NOT be the watcher to solve the mystery. It will be HOW the main cast figures the mystery out. The answer will be pretty much in the open for the "viewer" but NOT the "character" in this show. However again this kind of mystery would be at the middle ground now. The mystery isn't what I would say a mystery fan would enjoy solving. Since it's NOT a "solve a mystery" but "how they solve it" Kinda more like a walkthrough if anything... So still even as a mystery, it's in the middle of the grey zone. Not what a hardcore mystery fan would enjoy... Also, as I said the action can be VERY repetitive too because it's losing its "unique" gore by showing it too often... With that, it will feel normalised. Also don't expect the killing action to be different too. They use the same killing move... Like yep, that's why you shouldn't "normalize" those action scenes... If you not going to add any more unique killing acts... It would just feel like normal sht...

Many popular "cruel execution" manga/novels or even Korean/Chinese staff have one thing in common... It always gives you the EDGE on how the execution would be... Death Note and Danganronpa's EXTREME execution is a good example. It was so extreme and new every time.

To fix this "using the same killing move" is simple... Less action and giving more story or the reason for such act... It would feel like "they deserve it" instead of focusing on "wow they did it again... GREAT!" Even One Punch Man's story structure is like that. In reality, Saitama can ONLY punch... Yet why the story felt so good? Because One (author) shifts to focus on anyone else. Yeah... It's just this easy-to-fix "Only have 1 move" issue. Just give us a side tract that has a meaning till we get to see another of "same move yet important"

At least things start to change since ep 5+... 1-4 really feel numb and just action... You can say the "reason why we want action" is a bit late...

Now its 6+/10. That's all I can give them for trying to fix things.

No matter what yep this is indeed a modern classic of WHAT a harem should have been. It's perfect in character, scenario, story, and animation too. The manga was also just as great with so many memorable scenes.

This is why I always want one thing from a harem series and that's HOW they can play with the story and their character. As easy as it may sound most shows are pretty much the same as isekai... Copypasta that in the end just there for fanservice... Like rarely would there be a show where I love and adore all the girls. In most cases, the ... best they could do is just "The harem is just decoration" or "In the end, it's only just 1 best girl" In most cases, the only thing the author can do best makes one heroine... If that's the case, won't it be better to make a regular romance instead?

Well, I'm getting sidetracked but yeah this is indeed a 10/10. I can't rate it any lower as it is a modern classic to EVERYTHING that makes harem a good show.

Also, the fun fact the manga artist makes this ending scene with 5 endings. The ending you see now is Yotsuba ending.

Yes, as much as the fan saying he picks Yotsuba but in reality, it's just "His dream" If you want to see the entire wedding scene? I think the anime makes it clear that we should read the last 5 extra chapters.

Also, about the paradox of Yotsuba's ending. It's not that it's badly written too. Her story works exactly as WHO she is. She thought of herself as a failure so she decided to punish herself by NOT making her feelings known.

As you can see, she blames herself as a "bad girl" not to mention helping so many people too. It's as if she's trying to make ament for it... As you can see in this movie, she blames herself a lot. She doesn't want to split the family apart with this love too.

Also, as you can see too that she's always helped Usagi out in the entire show since season 1. She never once did anything to annoy Usagi and if anything, she's supporting him.

That's the paradox of her "love" She has always loved him yet only help without showing it. Only those who already like him will see that she's actually not too sudden of a ship but it was already there since the first ep of season 1. Also, those who don't like her much won't even see it cause "She's never been in their mind"

That's the paradox of hidden love.
-Too hidden for you to see it = You will find that a fault
-Not too hidden for you = Too obvious that makes it boring.

But for some reason the author makes it work... Only those who like her can see it and those who don't won't be so... Quite a magic right?

So yeah, that's another +1 for the author... He knows his craft in this.

Well after this series has ended I can see some weakness and the reason why it's just 7/10.


It CAN be 8/10 or more if this happens.
-It has around 16-18 episodes. Since because it rushing a lot Deen studio couldn't fill out more of how the fight is or to how the world is in right now. Plus to the story for each important character was left out.
-It has this chance to point out why everyone still follows Yuki even after all her mistake. Like they can point out the reason why they still follow her. Like Harold and Izana is the very reason why they ... still follow her. You may not know but it's actually a common thing people will hype up to follow their hero more. Plus to how she shows her kindness actually is one of the factors but with limited episodes, those got left out.
-Obviously yes some can only be left out for those who will think a lot for what happens too during each part of the story due to this limited episodes.
-Try to make us care for Stella more and make it like she isn't just doing bad things for just being bad. It's like they only show that part for 10% if the series which is really bad for "double main character" series.
-The ending is OK but it can be better. Good ending many good series would do I will say an ending after all conflict should be at least 1-3 episodes. Not just a few minutes.



My advice?
Made it so at that length next time.



You doing great right now with the idea with there's the thing you did.
-Made it so Yuki isn't like wtf somehow she abnormally hype up after seeing someone who cares for her since she was born. That's kinda inhuman... But yeah due to that mistake it also made her look like a crying baby and everyone follow her.
-Make us think that the empire just being bad but actually many reasons like it was to get their resource which they were so desperate and to end all charas. Since they already fail their experiment and to how the corruption within the Kingdom lead to all this mess by killing the messenger.
-Also to how the robot fight was also great. Not just senseless EXPLOOOOOSION! But also just disable and sit still.
-The animation is also quite decent.
-The character gotta says even if they have been shown to us in a few episodes. Gotta say they really nail each character pretty good. That's one of the things they did best too.

For story? This anime really isn't that bad at storytelling but the real blame is bad planning. This is like a big project longer than 12 episodes not just something that can cram into just 12 episodes. I already check all the other staff background and gotta say the director of the episode isn't that great as the others are... Most really made a lot of profit with lots of famous series but yeah there's episode director are famous for "Bad episodes set." With a very boring first series and then just decent in the end... So yeah same old people making the same mistake... Well, can't be helped if that's what budget they have... Just 6/10... Not for the story that's bad but the sub-general of it which is "episodes length" is the blame.

As for music? It was quite great and not boring to hear at all. Well 7/10

The art? Gotta say it was just quite decent like most anime. Wasn't exactly unique so 7/10 at best.

Character? A big A+ for the story writer for actually making a very emotional impact for many characters even if they just appear for a few episodes. Including to how realistic they are. Not just "anime power" This is a few shows that do that and I respect that. Don't tell me wrong I also like anime that has an unrealistic character too if they are well written.

Well even with all those mistakes it's actually a fun ride for me since I actually ace history class and even ace military class section... So those missing story is quite a fun thing for me to notice and made a theory out of them. So for me, it's 8/10

Overall is (6+7+7+10+8)/5 = 7.6

Like I have seen a lot and for sure like many anime with 12 episodes. THIS limitation that made many series being the worst isn't the first time. Actually countless too... Don't worry it's still good but just won't be the same as most anime that goes by anime logic. This will remain to go by how it should be going.

This anime for those who need to know let me say this honestly after watching it about 11 out of 24 episodes since the other two is just the intermission series like recap series. Due to that my judgment may change in time.

This anime best point is logic and facts of how the future will be so if you think it's boring then it may be the same kinda boring while listening to the teacher but please care to focus on them cause their way of talk is in the top 10% of smart anime type.
I'm not even lying this kinda logic hit on the ... top 10%. Also, their way of talk can some point reach to university lv so you may end up being like "WTF is going on?"

To be honest I love this show due to that. Also, the MC is base on a real average human so if you think that guy is dumb? Look at yourself and think what will you do in his shoe...
I bet it will end up like him with the best outcome... It will be even dumber if the MC is a normal human then go like "Oh I grant a power of the overlord!!! HAAAAAAAA!!!"
Like wow... That's dumb for an average human in the Sci-Fi world with no fantasy in it...

It seems many people just misunderstand it and watch it for action...
What I said is about how this anime will be.
Like no plot armor or OP mc. Only with the Sci-Fi in a scientific way. Like AI may surpass human and how the AI will react while using the cloud database. Like how the internet is to search for the best result. Their way of talk is just expending it to the university lv. I think you may not understand the meaning of what I'm trying to say.

I just love how this anime using only pure logic. I won't try to say more than this cause it will be spoilers.
In this anime it made you question a lot of things like scientist do with how they explain about AI or technology.

I will say that the story is amazing done 9/10. The art style just goes so well with the story but not good enough cause the action doesn't seem like to be at it's best for the story yet so I will give it 8/10. For the sound? It kinda like a normal but the OP is so good so when I math that it will be 7/10. As for the character will be kinda normal and interesting at the same time so it will be just 7/10 stand for just good. As for my enjoyment? I will say I really enjoy it so much. I just love to question everything so this is the kinda anime I love so 9/10.

When I math all the score the overlay will be 8/10 but like I say my judgment may change if they either mess up or make it better cause this is right now at the middle of the series so things may get interesting...

If you wondering what episode 12 try to tell you must be like trying to put in all the plot and stories that been happening so far to fully understand what it tries to imply. Episode 12 is like a puzzle that the creator lets you try to find out what it means by yourself. I won't tell you the answer, the true meaning of the ending cause it will count as a spoiler which I don't want to do that at all.

The stories are kinda interesting. Some people will say it like Akira the movie but at the same time, it isn't. This isn't ... that kinda movie where they have a superpower like that. The stories will be like about the girl with a fake body try to stop the burst just as the synopsis said but when you watch the entire series it just adds even more than just that. They even use real biological logic in this series too. I will give it 9/10 due to how well made it is and just as the above to what trick it try to do. It explains you and at the same time, it gave you the solvable puzzle for you to solve for later on or it will be solvable in the future. At some point, they also somehow use some strong drama scene without any warning at the right moment too. Not just any BS one but some logical thing that should have to happen. I didn't even expect they would do a drama that hard without any warning too, to be honest.

For the art style, its kinda gave you the creep and find it hard to watch but its the whole point. Since this isn't some happy anime but its the near apocalypse anime. It will be a horrible apocalypse anime if it looks beautiful. Even so, I think they can do better than that by making it, even more, creepier but considering that many horror anime still can't reach to the point of true horror yet so it's understandable. I will give it the 8/10.

For sound effect, I think its only at the good lv. At least it isn't horrible but only just good so I will give it just 7/10 stand for good and just that.

For the character design, I will say that it's kinda fun enjoyable to see how they act and only just that until some episode of course that it somehow made us care about the character. I think this is one of the anime that can do like some instant drama without any warning which is also super effective to how they timing that.

This anime I find myself very enjoying it. I think it will be 10/10.

In conclusion, it will be 9+8+7+8+10 = 42 then 42/5 it will be 8.04/10. I will just give it 8/10 due to the math. It isn't something that you call nonsense. Its what you call "math"

Extra: To be honest I never expect that Netflix will somehow make a very good original series. This kinda goes beyond what I have to expect in this series. Hope they will make something with this lv of quality a lot more soon. Since most of the series Netflix has a bad hobby of doing the "Must watch more series to know how it will end"
I don't wang that JoJo reference like "To be continued" memes. Wait... Not another Fing JoJo reference... But yeah that's how they mostly do so this is considering one of the best they have ever made. There's a lot more then this but its just so rare but it won't be if they said this anime is with Netflix without saying that its "Netflix original series" when that happens it always end up really good. With good starting and the good ending that made you want to watch more without being forced to.

After watching this anime for 7 episodes.
This anime I will say that all the stories

The stories of this anime is a 10/10 for sure. This is how the stories are for me.
It felt like a thorn stab right through your heart countless time. When you try to get up you then know that its useless cause in front of y- No, in every corner you can see a burning arrow fill with sadness falling right at you from a very far distant. Hopelessly struggle as you try to avoid those arrow. Some of them hit you and gave you the pain that you mightn't be ... able to run at all. Some of them miss you but nonetheless a lot of arrows already stab right to your body countless of times and then you met your end...
The stories have a strong point on how it can let people felt the emotion and imagine them. It let you predicted it just a little while that prediction made them cry even harder. Even if you close your eye you can still felt how much emotion in it. Not just that along with that sadness you will feel. The characters developing are also made you smile. Sometimes made you cry with joy.

For the art, I will say that all the art are perfectly fit how the stories need to be. It gave you the right image that you felt while listen or read the subtitle along the way. Help to support the stories even more. That's just how good it was. With the Opening and Ending art style that also goes so well with the stories as well. I recommend you check the OP/ED. 10/10 for sure.

As for the characters, I will say that every character is very loveable and enjoyable characters as well. They supporting to how this anime needs to be like "Teaching Violet's emotion"
The more I watch it, the more see how Violet's character is.

As for how much I enjoying it? Oh, its obvious to how I wrote something like this. A 100% SURE IS A 10/10 RATE!
