NHK ni Youkoso is a true masterpiece. Completely different from all other animes, this show is so influential, so intriguing and so frustrating at times, that it might make you smash your god-damned head into the wall.
But if you watch it through 24 episodes, you will not only enjoy it but learn some important lessons that will stick with you. Such a gem this anime is.

If you want a sweet ride through fantasy and want over the top genius hikikomori protagonists like No Game No Life( not to mention Itachi-like-lines below his eyes),
which will only be remembered for its lame shit then you can ... go to blazes for all I care.

Story 9/10
'Original Synopsis' of this anime can be a little misleading. NHK ni Youkoso revolves around a shithead NEET hikikomori Satou and the problems he faces in trying to overcome this 'disease'
of his. It very truly depicts the life of a NEET, you might feel that its a little exaggerated but, believe me, we all have seen similar cases in reality.
Anyway, a girl, Misaki, tries to help him (cannot give the reason for that as it will the biggest fucking spoiler and your 7 generations will curse me and piss on my grave for that)
so he can return to living a normal life. But things are not always that simple and life takes twists and turns.
The pacing of the show might seem slow at the start but it is not actually slow, it is the real life pacing, things do not happen all of a sudden
in real life (except for lightening, which strikes fu*king fast), particularly in the life of a hikikomori. They take their time (I am trying to cover Satou's lazy ass maybe)
and it makes the show throroughly enjoyable.

Characters 10/10

For me, characters are the strongest point of this show, they are so unique and real that you grow very attached to them, especially Satou,
if you make a list of protagonists from all the animes of all the time, then the most paranoid pathetic shithead c**t will be Satou,
and of course, by a few million light years. But precisely because of that, because of him being a realistic NEET, you will sympathise with him,
you will wish for him to recover from all the shit he has got invloved with. The truth is that, Satou wants to become normal, sometimes he tries by himself but it is not always that easy
when you are paranoid, just like any other NEET and Hikikomori. Next up is Misaki, the only piece of toilet paper in a world full of shitty butts.
Not a lot about her will be revealed(until last few episodes) and for the most part of the show she will be " an Angel sent from heaven to save a lazy asshole from ruining his life".
The last main character is Yamazaki(Satou's junior in highschool), an otaku and programmer, but a hardworking one, clever and logical.
Comparing him to Satou will be an insult to him(Yamazaki), though sometimes his 'otakuness' takes over and he becomes as useless as his sempai Satou.

Sound/Voice acting 10/10

The OP and Ending are good but not exceptionally great. But the reason sound gets a 10 is because of PURU-PURU-RU-RU Rin MOFOs!( yes I am not joking, it deserves this)
this is a song that will be played a lot of times throughout the show, in times of hopelessness and desperation, in times of frustration and in times of aspiration.
You will dislike it in the start just like Satou hated it. But at the end of 24 episodes you will be all 'Pururin' from head to butt to toe.
Its been two years since I watched this show but this pururin keeps popping in my head from time to time. So much that its become one of my favourites.
The voice acting cast suits the characters so much that it feels like these voice actors were born for these roles.
It is also one of the reasons you get attached to these characters.

Art 10/10

The reason art gets full marks is because the way it shows the emotions of the characters is just top notch. Although the overall art of the show is not exceptional but
because the facial expressions are so well done, which convey so much more than words, is the reason it gets top marks.

Enjoyment And OVERALL 10/10

I wanted to give an 11/10 for enjoyment. Yes, this show will keep you on your toes throughout its episodes. There will be times when you will laugh at Satou's patheticness,
there will be frustrating times when you'd want to smash you computer and pee on its screen and there will be times you'd be about to weep,
but might manage to punch a cushion just in time to save yourself.

A lot of enjoyment and important things to learn from this anime for all shitheads and anime fans ( or both).
Usually I am against (writing and reading) a long review( Satou laziness curse) but to put down all of my accumulated feelings for this masterpiece, I had to make an exception.

I am a HARDCORE detective/mystery genre fan that is why I had very high expectations of this show when I started it but it was a downhill slope starting from episode one. I am not the type of person that likes to write entirely UNCONVENTIONAL reviews but my mind forced me on this one Some people might be bragging about its ORIGINALITY but guess what?*Spoiler*Ever heard of the anime "MONSTER"?The characters background is entirely COPIED from that masterpiece anime. I wanted to wait till ... the show is complete before writing this review but I could not hold myself back anymore.
Overwhelming positive reviews of ZnT are only because of hasty people judging it by first two episodes.

Story 3/10

Two teenagers( with mysterious background) attempting terrorist attacks while preventing casualties and a smart-ass detective trying to stop them. Actually I have NO problem with it whatsoever. The use of Greek mythology as puzzles is a little awkward but one can live with it because it is done cleverly. It even focuses on small details of those terrorist attacks. Which should make it an above average anime. So what is wrong with the story then? The problem is that this show presents itself as a serious and REAL crime/detective anime. Then all of a sudden a foreign teenage GIRL '5' appears and sits on the arses of the whole police department of Japan, lets bombs blast (and even makes police plant the bombs *facepalm* ) in public places just in order to catch two wanna-be terrorists. On the top of that starts playing chess with the terrorists on the Airport screens and no one gives a f***, no the absurdness is not over, she plants bomb in a passenger plane and tries to hit it on the airport,risking lives of hundreds, just to kill 2 to 3 terrorists and the Japanese authorities are sleeping? Is this a goddamned REAL CRIME DETECTIVE show? Moreover so when she herself orders to "dont shoot" the terrorist('9') like 3 minutes ago!! Poor writing must not be ignored in such genres.

The art was pretty suitable for a serious and realistic show and was most of the time OUTSTANDING. Although the anime itself turned out to be mediocre but the art was clearly meant to give ZnT a realistic touch.

Sound

The opening and ending are pretty decent, the BGM is usually drum music which is unconventional but certainly pleasant to the ears.

Characters

As already mentioned, the background story of 9 and 12 is literally pulled out of 'Monster' anime, but even then the show reveals this story so late in the show when it does not really matter anymore. 12 is a happy go lucky kind of character and remains the same throughout the show while 9 is your usual serious badass protagonist with a soft corner in his heart somewhere. The girl Lisa has a screwed up Mom who is over-obsessed with her daughter. Lisa herself is a cliche character who cannot do anything and is extremely fragile and emotionally unstable, her purpose and reason is yet to be explored, maybe a hostage/handicap character. The famed antagonist '5' which I've been taking about for quite a long time(who is an old 'pal' of our protagonists) is also completely unexplored, but she wants some kind of revenge on the main characters, due to her hot-air-ballon-ego at the expense of whole Japanese citizens, her personality can be summed up in one word i.e. bitch.*Spoiler-ends*

Enjoyment and Overall

ZnT started rather brightly, but a lot of flaws in its "REALISTIC" story which is flushed down the gutter after 5 episodes, negligible character development till late in the anime makes it a mediocre anime as it progresses.
Being a huge fan of crime, terrorist and detective shows, it is safe to say that ZnT had a lot of potential but it is utterly wasted when the show deviates from reality, a bit of deviation is digestible(Detective Conan), but when such an anime completely ignores reality just to heat up the rivalry between protagonists and antagonist...... it ends up choking the mystery fans like us.
Though judging it by the eye of an ordinary viewer, the anime is above average(that is,if you ignore all the bullshit and plot holes).

A very underrated anime ( which forced me to write a rare review).
Kamisama dolls has everything expected of a great, enjoyable and thrilling anime.

The story is interesting but it takes a few episodes to get everything going ( probably that is why hasty people rated it low). The story takes a few turns which keeps it interesting, it also has a mystery element attached to it throughout the show which keeps the viewer hooked.

One of the strongest point of Kamisama Dolls is its characters. The characters are unique and all have some strong background stories particularly the apparent villain.Viewer gets attached to main characters ... during the thirteen episodes and it makes story more interesting

The art is great as expected of a modern anime and opening and ending are exceptionally good. Sound effects are pretty well done.

Overall a very enjoyable anime that keeps you hooked throughout (if you continue to watch it past first four episodes) its pretty sad to have a great anime rated so low even more when it does nothing wrong with the story and character development.
You wont be disappointed at the end of this show!

Did you ever think you will be rooting for man eaters in an anime? If no, then Tokyo Ghoul is here to disprove you. Tokyo Ghoul is one of the best anime this season and it is sure to keep you on your toes. With ... its darkness and gore most likely to attract gore fans but it can be equally enjoyed by anyone.
Although the concept of getting new powers and meeting a whole different kind of people is not new to anime, but Tokyo Ghoul executes it in a very efficient manner. It focuses on the point that there is no clear distinction between good and evil and it all depends on perspectives. In a deeper sense, it reminds us that we should not jump to conclusions without considering the circumstances and difficulties faced by the others.

The only disappointment is some censoring in a few scenes but it is overshadowed by the awesomeness of this show.Overall a very enjoyable anime, Art is crisp and up-to-date, sound effects and OP/Ending are amazing, characters are unique and interesting.

A must watch for gore and thriller fans.
