If you can look past all its flaws, the Seven Deadly Sins is very enjoyable show.
Many people criticize the show for its dues ex machina plot. I would agree to a certain extent. Many of these devices are used near the very the end of the show, specifically the last two episodes. Fortunately there is a little backup for each d.e.m. used so it doesn't feel completely ridiculous. See the story loves to put these little hints throughout the entirety of the story to explain the ending. Then, they show all these "hints" in a quick flash to make you feel like its

justified. Most of the time there is no explanation. It just is and you have to accept it.
On the other hand, the show excels at showcasing vibrant characters. This is by far the best part of the show. There is such an uniqueness found in each and every one of the characters. You fall in love with all of the personalities as they clash and bond. The show will have you laughing at just how ridiculous each person is. This is the height of the show. Many times you will question their decisions but you will never question their person.
The art, like the characters, is very vibrant. Flashy and colorful, it catches the eye. The animation felt very similar to Magi. It's no wonder the show was made by the same studio.
The sound is decent. Good themes come in at the right time and I get my excitement going but it definitely doesn't blow me away.
Honestly, this show has a identity crisis. It is constantly not taking itself seriously with slapstick humor but it tries to be serious with demons, murder, and pure evil. Its very good at the humor but not so good at the evil. The middle of the show is the creme of the crop while the beginning and end leave something to be desired. By the end, I think you won't think this show is very good, but you will have enjoyed the hell out of it along the way.
