Uncanny similarity. Both females of both shows had a dramatic "change" that occurred to them, making them closer to the one they loved. Both main male characters have this dilemma whether to keep the "change" that had happened or to revert them back. Animations are pretty similar. Romance is Vanilla. Both Main male characters are bad-ass, but you can see them warm-up later because of the circumstances that happened...

When I watched the episode 2 of Houkago Intiation, it immediately reminded me of "Gibo". It's technically not incest. These two are alike in terms of relationships between a son and a step-mother. The sons get what they deserve in the ending.

I can't believe I'm the first to see the similarities between Black Lagoon and Spice and Wolf. Both of these anime have romance. But it's not the kind of romance where it's out in the open. They showed hints of it throughout the series, more so in Spice and Wolf. Rock and Lawrence are two boring male protagonists who each have boring jobs. Rock used to work in the corporate world. While Lawrence works as a merchant. Holo and Revy are two bad-ass female protagonists in the series who suddenly entered the lives of those two boring men. Holo is a wise wolf deity, who used to be feared by humans, but they got accustomed to her over time. Revy continues to soak fear into the hearts of those who cross paths with her, not only because of her demeanor, but also because of her moniker, "Two-Hands", of which she got because she can wield two guns ambidextrously. Over the course of the series, they showed a little bit of the soft side of Revy and how Rock got accustomed to her. So if you're looking for the kind of romance where it's not obvious, but it hints it, you should watch both of this to understand pretty much my point.

They're both different. But they do have the same plots. Well, the original Toradora was not about bentos, but this OVA was. They're both about Bentos. Both was about competition about bentos. Both has a hint of romance.

Both have really good plots Both have that relatable moments in life Both made a better love story in a little more than an hour than Twilight did in 4 books Both are great movies Both movies slaps you so hard about reality that sometimes you don't want to ever go outside of your room anymore Both made me cried in the end (manly tears)
